I don't own anything.

Grace Van Pelt leaned against the wall of the last stall in the CBI bathroom. Everyone thought that she had left, but she didn't. She had gone into the bathroom, leaned against the cold wall of the stall and started to sob.

She splashed some water on her face in front of the sink and went to go look for Wayne. She didn't see him in the bullpen, so she started to turn towards the kitchen when Jane walked by with a cup of tea, "He just left."

"I… I don't know what you're talking about?" She said flustered.

"Grace, you have something with Rigsby that you're lucky to find. I had it once, and once it's gone, you just…" He said starting to get a sad look in his eyes.

"Thank you, Jane." She said gently touching his arm before heading to the parking lot,.

She saw Wayne walking to his car.

"Wayne!" She yelled running after him.

"Oh, um, hi Grace. I'm sorry and I've been a jackass and-" He said turning and running his hand through his hair before she interrupted.

"I love you and that scares the shit out of me because last time I loved someone remotely this I was in high school and he got killed and then I tried to kill myself and our job is so dangerous and I just… I can't lose you. And this, announcing our relationship, made it real and when thing are real people get hurt, as our argument clearly proved."

"Grace, I am so sorry. I never wanted to hurt you, I just, I don't know, I was a jackass and I can understand if you don't wanna see me again…"

"Wayne," She said coming towards him, "I love you, so much, probably even more than you love me, but I need to know. Is this all you see for us? That you think the possibility of marrying me is stupid? I love you and I will put my job on the line for you, but I need to know that you are in this. That you could see us together in fifty years, but if you can't don't string me along; don't make me ruin my career. Wayne, I need to know right now. Do you love me? Do you see yourself marrying me in a few years?" She said standing in front of him. She looked like a sad and awkward child waiting for his answer.

"Grace, I love you. I didn't think it was stupid, I just meant so soon and I don't know… I just got scared and I panicked and used sarcasm. I love you and I see myself with you in fifty years. And I know that when it comes down to it we'll figure it out. Lisbon gave us some more time. So we can stay together and with the unit and when we start to get serious we can find alternatives for both of us. Okay?"

"Okay." She said smiling and hugging him. She was glad that he was parked in a blind spot for the security cameras.

"Come on. Let's go home." He said pulling her towards his car.

"Wayne?" She asked as she got into the passenger seat of his car.

"Yeah, Grace?" He asked as he started to pull out of the lot.

"What happens if we argue again?" She asked.

"Not if, Grace. We will argue again. Couples that don't argue end up killing each other. But when we do argue, I'll let you win." He said smiling at her.

"I know you will. I love you."

"I love you, too."
