Words fell like leadened weights down down down to the bottom of the oceans and his blonde hair was in his eyes and blinking hurt and "No, no."
She walked away from him, little pink dress getting shorter. Her pale legs stood out brightly against the dark midnight colored sky and he landed in the sand on his knees, aching, with a hand fisted into the fabric covering his chest. It wasn't fair she wasn't fair and it was fear fear fear making him keep to the ground.
"I'll play you a song," he told her, he practically screamed it out. She shook her pretty red hair about and waved him off, annoyed. "I'll make you come back, you'll want to come back." he warned her. His voice grew icy as did the waves surrounding them.
She walked walked walked onward and he couldn't bear to stop her; halting her was like the world ceasing to exist and so would he and so would she.
"I can't love you, he muttered, jerking his hood over his hair. "I'm not allowed to even if you listened, even if I tried to cut out the vestigal heart under my lungs." he mumbled his phrases of unrequited like as the sky darkened even more.
So many things were possible when you yourself were/are/willneverbe not.
