[A/N: An OC story that no one is probably gonna read but I had a sudden burst of mojo and decided to write a one-shot of my OC's fraccion, Nova Schiffer. Yes, he's Ulquiorra's younger brother . Don't hate me. Please, I have never gotten a review in my life, have some mercy and tell me if it sucks or not]

"E-Etto, Onee-sama…" I fiddled with a strap on my uniform as I spoke.

Ulquiorra sighed impatiently. "Spit it out." he ordered in his cold voice.

"Well… I-I would like to have the honor of being your fraccion… Onee-sama." I stuttered.

My brother stared at me for a long moment before continuing on his way to his quarters.

Before he disappeared through the doorway he turned towards me and looked into my eyes, as if he were trying to get me to understand something.

"Trash." He shut the door in my face.

"W-what? But, I've gotten so much stronger…" I mumbled to myself. "Onee-sama."

I sighed and turned back to the hall way.

'What am I supposed to do? No matter how much I train I'm not good enough to be his fraccion. I'm not good enough to be anyone's fraccion. I guess I'll just have to stick to being a medic… damn.' I thought to myself as I rounded a corner.

I was so lost in my thoughts I didn't notice that someone else was rounding the same corner until I bumped into them.

"Oh! Gomen nassai!" I bowed. It wasn't until they responded that I realized who I had bumped into.

"What the fuck?! Watch were you're going, bitch!!!" Sexta Espada, Grimmjow Jaggerjacks yelled.

"My deepest apologies, Grimmjow-sama. It wont happen again." I blurted out, every time Grimmjow opened his mouth was to yell at someone. And every word he had ever directed at me was an insult. He stressed me out.

"It better not, fucker." he spat grabbing my shoulder roughly and pulling me out of his way.

"Grimmjow." a familiar female voice scolded as Dua Decima Espada, Nikoto Ikatshia came into view. Her beautiful brown hair framing her angelic face.

"There's no need for foul language, dumbfuck!" she yelled, contradicting herself in humor.

I chuckled. Nikoto-sama was usually very nice to most Arrancar, if those Arrancar were nice to her of course.

"Fuck off, Nikoto." Grimmjow muttered.

Nikoto-sama gave him a wide grin.

"Aw, c'mon kitty! Don't get all pouty." he said in a cute voice as she wrapped her arms around his chest, she was a tiny little thing.

Grimmjow sighed and rubbed his temples. "You are one weird bitch, Niko-chan." he muttered before pushing her off and retaking his path.

"See ya at dinner, kitty! I've got Whiskas and Friskies!!!" she yelled waving as Grimmjow disappeared around the corner, muttering angrily to himself.

"Soooo… What's up, Nova-kun?" She asked grabbing my arm and pulling me with her as she walked away. "Are you Ulqui-chan's fraccion yet?" She asked.

I sighed. "I don't think I'll ever be." I replied. "And… no one else wants me as a fraccion."

"That's not true, they'd be lucky to have you as a fraccion." She said.

"Thanks Nikoto-sama, but I know you're just saying that." I laughed without humor.

"I'm serious." she insisted.

"If you're serious then why haven't you recruited me?" I felt instantly horrible at the disrespectful accusation. "Gomen." I apologized immediately, bowing my head.

She blinked. "Why?"

"Err… That wasn't nice." I answered stupidly.

"Whatever. I haven't recruited you cause' I thought you wanted to be your bro's fraccion." she answered my previous question.

"O-Oh." was all I could say.

"Well it doesn't look like that is gonna happen sooooo…" she stopped walking, stood directly in front of me and got on one knee.

"Nova Schiffer, would you give me the honor of becoming my fraccion?" she asked as she pulled out a small box out of seemingly nowhere.

Inside it was a big, beautiful, stack of Pocky. I burst out laughing instantly.

"Is that a yes?" she mocked.

I kept laughing. "Y-yes." I managed between laughs.

"Yay!" she cheered and tackled me into a hug.

I stumbled back a bit as she rested her head on my chest. I knew I shouldn't have been surprised, after all it was Nikoto-sama. And I knew that I shouldn't feel a million butterflies in my stomach when she hugged me.

"This is gonna be great, Nova! You'll eat your favorite plate every night and you'll have a queen sized bed and everything!" she squealed squeezing me tighter.

I sighed. 'I guess this makes me her new pet…' I thought.

"Try not to spoil me too much, Nikoto-sama." I chuckled.

"I make no promises." She giggled. "C'mon, lets go get your stuff right now!" she said eagerly, taking my hand and running down the hall.

That was the most happy day of my life. It was my most memorable memory. The day that I began serving Nikoto-sama. It was hard to believe how much things had changed in one day.

Right now I was running across hot sand trying desperately to find my master.

"Nikoto-sama!!!" I called out desperately. I was at the brink of tears.

Aaroniero, Zommari, and Szayel Aporro were dead. And there was a good possibility that Nnoitra and Nikoto-sama were dead too.

I shook my head fiercely. I couldn't allow myself to think of the worst.

I tried to feel for her reiatsu but I've always really sucked at that.

"Nikoto-sama!!!" I called again, bending over to catch my breath.

What if she was dead? What would I do? If she was dead, it was my fault completely.

"Nikoto-sama!!!" I called again, desperation getting the best of me.

Suddenly I saw a small figure in the horizon.

"N-Nikoto-sama!" I yelled using sonido to appear a few yards away from her.

She was walking slowly, to slowly compared to how quickly she always moved. She held her arm and had tears streaming down her face. My eyes widened in horror as I saw she was drenched in blood.

"Nikoto-sama, are you alright?!" What a stupid question.

She didn't say or do anything, she just stared at me with solemn eyes. I noticed she had a large gash-like wound that started on her shoulder and extended all the way to her skirt's line.

I automatically darted to her side to examine the wound. She put a restraining hand on my shoulder.

"I'm fine." she assured in a dead voice. "Most of the blood isn't mine."

"Nikoto-sama…" I was such a dope. That was apparently the only word in my vocabulary.

She looked at the blood-stained sand below her.

"What happened?" I asked anxiously.

Her face scrunched and twisted in pain as more tears streamed down her cheeks.

"Tesla's dead." She whispered.

Well, shit.

I couldn't find my voice behind the lump in my throat.

"I-It's going to be fine…" I started. "You're safe now."

She did something unexpected; she screamed at the top of her lungs.

"He's dead! He's dead! They're all dying!!! Nova!!! Nova, he's dead!!! HE'S DEAD!!!"

"Nikoto-sama…" I was shocked. I had witnessed many of her outbursts and tantrums but this was a whole new level.

She kept screaming and screaming. It was high pitched, bloody murder screaming. It was frightening. I thought she had finally snapped. She buried her face in her palms trying to muffle the screaming, when that failed she proceeded to try to pull her hair out.

I ran to her and pulled her into my chest, cradling her to me. "It's okay!" I yelled trying to calm her down.

"No! No it's not!!! They're dead! Everyone is dying! Were all gonna die, Nova!!!"

"Don't say that! No one else is going to die, especially you. Nikoto-sama, I'll protect you. I would die for you!"

"SHUT UP!!!!" She pushed me away abruptly.

I was confused, but she was having a melt down so it didn't hurt the way it should have.

"Don't say that! Don't ever say that!!!" She yelled grabbing my arms with her tiny hands and shaking me fiercely.

"W-Why not?" I choked out.

"I don't want you to die! I don't want you to die for me!!! Nova, promise me you wont be that stupid!" She begged.

"B-But, Nikoto-sama, I'd do anything for you."

"NO!!! Promise me!" She begged.

"But…"

"Promise me!!!" She begged again.

"I-I promise." I sighed in defeat.

She stayed silent for an intelligible amount of time. It took me a while to make sure her fit was over. When I was positive she wouldn't freak out again I moved to treat her wound again.

"I'm fine." She stated again but in a sharper tone.

"It's a deep wound-"

"I said I'm fine!" she snapped. "It's just another Nnoitra-wound, I've had worse. And… I might as well enjoy the pain since I wont ever be getting another again." She said in a harsh tone.

So, Nnoitra-sama was dead, too. Damn. Everyone was dying.

"Nikoto-sama, please." I begged.

"I'm fine, god dammit!!!" She yelled in my face before turning on her heel and limping away from me.

"O-Oi! Where are you going?" I asked catching up to her.

"To open a Garganta, I'm going to fight with Aizen." She stated.

"You cant be serious." I muttered in disbelief.

She ignored me.

"Nikoto-sama… I cant allow you to do that." I stated in a grave tone.

She sighed in annoyance and ignored me.

I grabbed her wrist. "You're not going anywhere!!!" I yelled angrily.

She reached back and slapped me hard across my face. I held my cheek automatically

"How dare you?! You're not the boss of me! I'll do whatever I want!" she yelled back.

"I cant… I cant let you go! I cant just let you go kill yourself, Nikoto-sama!!!" I yelled.

"Nova, stop acting like a bitch and grow some balls!!! I'm not gonna die!"

"Yes you are! If you go out there you'll die, at least let me treat your wounds first! Please!!!" I had to hold in my tears. "I cant let you go!"

"Why not?!"

"Because… Because I love you!!!" I yelled as a stream of tears rolled down my cheeks.

She was quiet.

"I've always… Since I first saw you, since you first smiled at me… Nikoto…sama…" I sobbed.

She sighed. "Dumbass… I already knew that, I thought you were gonna say something less stupid, you dunce." She mumbled.

My eyes went wide. "You… knew?"

"Everyone on the face of the planet knew." She stated coldly.

"Everyone? Was it that obvious?"

"Yeah."

I felt like the biggest idiot alive. 'Yeah Nova, she's right… Grow some balls.'

In all the embarrassment my subconscious noted that Carias was an asshole, since he knew how I felt about my master and proceeded to flirt with her in my face. He was in for it when he got back.

"Nova… Don't take this the wrong way but, you know I love you, too. Not that way, but still. I love you, too, Nova." She smiled at me through all the pain wrenched into her face.

"Nikoto-sama…"

She pulled me into a tight embrace, standing on her tip-toes so she could wrap her arms around my neck. I wrapped my arms around her waist and lifted her from the ground, hugging her tightly.

"Enjoy the moment." She muttered in my ear. I couldn't help but snicker a bit.

I pulled her closer and soon found myself sobbing on her shoulder as she ran a hand through my hair.

"Please… Please…" I sobbed.

"This doesn't change anything, Nova. I have to help the comrades I have left. If anyone else dies… I don't think I could take another death." She explained.

I buried my face in the crook of her neck.

"I'll be back."

"I'll go with you, Nikoto-sama." I sobbed.

"No, you are not allowed to put yourself in danger, that's an order." She scolded before pulling away to look at my face.

I looked into her eyes before she closed the distance between us and gave me a light peck on the lips.

"Put me down, close your mouth, and wipe your face." She laughed bitterly as I set her on her feet. I couldn't help the blush that was creeping onto my cheeks.

"It's been a pleasure having you as my fraccion, Nova Schiffer. And don't worry, we will meet again." She forced a grin onto her face before she entered the Garganta that was now behind her. I had been so lost in my own little world that I'd failed to see when she had opened it.

I couldn't manage to force a smile onto my lips as the Garganta closed and she disappeared with it.

It was heart wrenching.

I might never see her again.
