Summary: Soi Fon and Yoruichi are enjoying some down time together. YoruSoi. Two Shot.

A/N: I love this pairing so I decided to write a little something for them. Enjoy.

It was times like these that she would remember the most.

Nothing but the outside and the person she cherished the most in her lap, Yoruichi. Soi Fon stroked the silky black fur of the still cat as she sat there just being content.

No paperwork, fighting, or formal things to get in our way Yoruichi-sama... Soi Fon thought as she waited for the black cat to fall asleep.

"Little bee?" Yoruichi asked as she looked up.

"What is it Yoruichi-sama?" Soi Fon answered.

Yoruichi stood up in Soi Fon's lap and rubbed her small body on Soi Fon's stomach as she purred, "Could you sing me that song you always used to sing to me?"

The question brought a genuine smile to Soi Fon's lips as she replied, "Anything for you Yoruichi-sama."

Yoruichi settled back down in Soi Fon's lap.

"Soft Kitty,

Warm kitty,

Little ball of fur.

Happy kitty,

Sleepy kitty,

Purr, purr, purr."

Soi Fon repeatedly sang this song to Yoruichi until she was sure Yoruichi was asleep. Soi Fon picked Yoruichi up and as she was setting off to go back to her room she could hear Yoruichi mumble, "thank you."

That was all she ever needed to hear.
