Recapture moment.
"The name says Ami Hinamori."
The buried layers of eye bags under Daiki's eyes made it impossible for him to sleep. He sighed looking to his left to see Shugo snoozing while leaning on his right arm that was placed on top of the couch's arm rest. "This idiot's so stubborn."
"Mmm." He heard a soft moan coming from Ami who fell fast asleep with her head resting on his dear friend Kenta's chest.
He had no idea what his friend Kenta was cooping up, and why Shugo has been acting like he didn't give a care in the world. He was overly amazed to even believe that Kenta his best friend actually was scheming something. It didn't sound like his friend at all.
He rubbed his sore tired eyes and yawned. He had stayed up the whole night for the sake of his other friend Shugo. But at this moment, he was
starting to regret not sleeping a peep and had to deal with the consequence of aching back pain, sore eyes, and heavy bagged eyes.
He figured there was no point in watching over the two so he forcefully closed his eyes. It had felt like heaven for those five brief moments until he was disturbed by a knock on the door.
He stiffly opened his eyes and dragged his feet to the door. "Yes?"
The young employee bowed. "Sorry, I must be interrupting sir, but I'm here to ask what you would like early this morning?"
"To get some peaceful sleep in here," He mumbled and threw nearby towels at the three still dead asleep.
Ami stretched out her arms and breathed out feeling refreshed. "Ah, good morning!"
The young employee raised his head sighting Ami. "Ami? It's me!"
Amu gasped. "Yamato? Is that really you? What are you doing here?"
Kenta and Daiki exchanged glances at Shugo who was still quiet and ever so menacing.
"My Uncle is the manager of this hotel." He smiled brightly. "What brings you here?"
"Oh I'm here with my-!" Ami spoke happily, but broke off. "Well my-."
Shugo scoffed. "Who the hell are you anyways? Shouldn't you be giving us service instead of telling your whole life story?"
"Shugo!" Ami scolded him angrily.
Yamato smiled apologetically and bowed. "I'm Nakamura Yamato, Ami's ex boyfriend."
Ami flushed pink at the remark and quickly switched glances to the floor. Shugo was completley oblivious, but still had a cool composure. Kenta just smiled in amusement and Daiki was just as lost as Shugo. "WHAAAAAAA?!"
After standing for what seemed like ten minutes, Yukito rested on a nearby bench. He impatienly tapped his foot and groaned as he heard his stomach rumble. "She's late."
"Wah! I'm sorry Yukito!" He heard off into the distance. It was Lily, his childhood friend. Like every Valentine's, Lily always helped out Yukito choose presents for his girlfriends. Of course he never begged, or forced her. It was Lily who offered and he always simply accepted the offer.
She leaned on her knees for support as she struggled to breathe. "S-So, sorry!"
"Don't forget you have your inhaler." Yukito reminded her.
She nodded still breathless and pulled out her inhaler. She inhaled and exhaled about three times finally catching her breath. "Ah, thank you for reminding me."
"Yeah," Yukito said leading the way. "So what do you think is a good present for Amu?"
Lily slowly paced forward while catching up to him and grinned. "From what I know about her right now, Amu seems like a sweet girl. It seems like it wouldn't matter to her just as long as it's from you."
Yukito nodded and smiled to her in agreement. "Yeah you're right, but I kind of want it to be special for her."
Though she felt sad, Lily only widened her smile and managed to let out a soft giggle. "I'm sure I can be of help then."
I always have been the passed sixteen years...
Rima's fist of fury sent Naghiko flying across the room. Rima was more than furious upon seeing her boyfriend following her.
"You better have a good explanation of being here." She said over looking Naghiko darkly.
Naghiko jumped to his feet trying to think of a reasonable excuse. "No, no Rima if anything it was fate!"
"Really?" Rima commented sarcastically. "So it just so happens while I was looking for a kimono in you're favorite store, I just so happened to see you jumping up and down cheerfully like a little girl?"
Naghiko coughed trying to look sophisticated. "I tend to get excited when I find a fabric that I like."
"Like hell that's true!" She said raising her fist up.
Naghiko cowered back frightened ready to feel the pain, but blinked in confusion. Rima hadn't hit him and took her attention outside of the store. When he followed her gaze, he gasped sighting the two people Rima was looking at. "That's!"
"I know," Rima said and speculated the two.
"Well what are you waiting for? Let's tell Amu!" Naghiko said searching for for his phone until he was slapped away.
"Baka!" Rima scolded him. "What if they're just hanging out?"
Naghiko moved his eyes towards Rima and then the couple ahead of them. "So what? Cheating is cheating!"
Rima raised her eyebrow. "Oh really? So that would mean that if Kukai and I were hanging out together that's considered cheating?"
"OF COURSE! HOW CAN YOU EVEN THINK OF SUCH A THING?" Naghiko questioned in triumph.
She rolled her eyes and snapped. "You idiot it was just an example!"
Rima and Naghiko both flinches as they noticed Lily grab Yukito's hand and guided him along with a smile. "Follow me, you'll love the feeling of it, I'm sure."
"THE FEELING OF WHAT?!" Screamed Naghiko, who was still oblivious with Rima.
Rima overlooked the couple narrowing her eyes. "Let's follow them."
"I WANT A REMATCH!" Kukai shouted.
Utau shook her head annoyed by his repeating unacceptance of losing. "I'm already getting tired of beating you."
Almost half way giving up, he suddenly cooped up a way to fire the blonde. "Oh I see,"
He paused, then tempted her with a challenging smirk. "You can't handle it anyways."
A vein popped out of Utau's forehead. "Boy? Are you challenging me?"
"You know I am." Kukai grinned in victory.
Before Kukai inserted the disk in the game console, Utau's phone rang.
"Moshi, moshi." She answered.
"Wha?!" She exclaimed and tossed the game remote aside hitting Kukai. "I'm coming right now!"
Utau sprinted out of the room unaware that she had left Kukai on the ground cold. Once she got to a nearby alleyway she was met up with Naghiko and
Rima. She immediatley came closing in on them for the details. "So this is great! Have you called Amu yet? We should tell Ikuto as well! The more people the
merrier!"
"See that's the thing," Rima sighed. "If we tell Amu, she might be heartbroken."
Utau scoffed. "Which is why we'll get her back to my brother Rima!"
"Yeah, Yeah!" Naghiko agreed excitedly.
Rima glared at the two smiling cheekily. "Well just to make sure we're following them.
Around two hours later, the gang decided to go cognito and gained suspicious looks from on lookers. Rima had the complete barbie girl image. With her hot pink sunglasses, and matching cami tank and jeans. Utau took the image as a tomboy girl sporting brown and green camo pants, orange tank, and beanie. And last and ever so excited was Nagi, who wore a dark blue kimono and had a fake patch on his chin. Rima and Utau honestly didn't know what that was all about...
Rima pulled down her sunglasses while looking at Lily and Yukito ahead of them getting flowers. "See, they haven't been doing anything wrong. All of this stuff is probally for Amu."
Utau, who wore an orange striped bikini lowered her hands to her hips, still unconvinced. "That's a slight chance. This no good Yukito is probally a two timer!"
"AHA!" Naghiko exclaimed pointing to the building across of them. "A hotel! Or shall I say love hotel?"
"Well that's-." Rima said still unsure. "That's uh..."
Utau spun around in defense of her belief. "Cheating of course! Let's go take pictures so we can bust Yukito for good bwaha-ha-ha-ha!"
"I like the way you think!" Naghiko commented darkly.
There was no stopping the two Rima thought. Those two airheads are so well driven to do whatever they can to ruin Yukito. Rima looked ahead at the two fiery people ahead of her running and sighed. "Great, now what?"
Rima decided to head home and leave this foolishness so she turned to leave when suddenly she reared into someone's chest. Her hot pink glasses had fallen off exposing her face. As she bent down to pick it up it was swooped off the ground and into the palm of someone's hand. "Rima?"
Rima's eyes widened to see Kukai so suddenly. She took the sunglasses from Kukai and slipped it on her face in embarassment. "Oh hello Kukai."
Although Kukai thought it was odd to see Rima of all people dressing like malibu Barbie, he quickle shook that off and asked for Utau.
"Oh Utau, she's-she's somewhere else!" Rima lied with a wide smile. She didn't want Kukai to know because wasn't Kukai also against the sabotage of Yukito and Amu's relationship?
"Oh okay," The gulliable and always cheerful Kukai grinned. "Well tell me if you see her-."
He said as he turned, then stopped as he sighted Utau in the hotel.
"Rima..." Kukai said slowly.
"Eh?" Rima said playing innocent.
Kukai bundled his fists up scaring Rima. "Don't tell me she's..."
"Well Kukai, we, I, I-I really tried to-."
"CHEATING ON ME?!" He screamed.
Crickets sounded in Rima's head. She was more than confused. "Say what?"
"HO HO HO SO SHE'S MOVED ON TO AN OLDER MAN HMMM?! HOSHINO GET READY TO MEET YOUR MASTER HO HO HO HO HO!" Kukai screamed charging for them.
"Wait!" Rima cried out for him. "AND WHAT'S UP WITH YOU LAUGHING LIKE THAT YOU SOUND LIKE SAAYA?!"
Amu flipped through the channels once more bored. She was lonely, her Mother was at work, her Father was buying groceries, her sister and Shugo were in Okinawa, and her boyfriend was working. The large dose of silence was too much for Amu to handle. She wanted to call Yukito. She wanted to just hear his voice once more.
It's Yukito, I'm probally really busy right now so leave a message.
After the beep five and then ten seconds went by. Amu didn't want to seem too clingy or that she was lonely when she hadn't even heard from him in the last eight hours. She was trying to make something out, but nothing really came except for the words she thought she'd never say.
"Hey, It's Amu. I-I miss you."
The end of the beep marked the end of the message and Amu shut the phone silently. What was she supposed to do when she was bored out of her mind? Would she return to read manga? Should she watch chick flicks to make her feel better? After thoroughly debating on the two she finally decided she's read manga. No one was around, and she hadn't read it in awhile. She returned to her room and shuffled through the shelf for any of her favorites. And that's when time felt like it had slowed down as one of the mangas fell down and spun on it's side. Amu's pulse ran short as she sighted the title and the markings that were located on the back of the book.
T.I.
Which stood for Tsukiyomi Ikuto.
After a moments of letting the initials sink in, one by one she felt tears sliding down her cheeks. And she had felt her knees grew weak, and her heart throb once more.
She just couldn't forget about him.
The glistening sand, the beautiful clear blue water, and the breath taking view was all meant for a perfect day for Ami. That is, except for the tension arising higher than the temperature. Amu was fumed and furious at how lately Shugo's been crankier than usual. And to top that off her ex boyfriend hanging out with them is too much of a discomfort.
"This beach is beautiful." Yamato said with a smile. "Just like you Ami."
A small tinge of pink appeared on Ami's face. He was as charming as she had remembered. She returned back the smile he had given her and nodded her head. "Thank you."
"Isn't this nice Shugo? We both have another rival now." Kenta over looked the couple and retreated his gaze back to his friend.
"Who gives a damn honestly." Shugo gloomed under the umbrella.
Daiki, who had just woken up from a good five hour nap stretched out his arms and laughed. "Looks like someone's not being honest."
"Shut up! Anyways it's good if she gets back with him!" He sharply turned around and pulled up his legs. "That way she'll leave me alone."
Kenta sighed and used sarcasm as an advantage to get through Shugo. "Oh, but this is a romance fanfic after all. Just because we're minor characters doesn't mean we can't have an interesting love triangle plot as well."
"SHUT THE HELL UP YOU KNOW DAMN WELL I DON'T GIVE A CRAP ABOUT US BEING MINOR CHARACTERS! AND WE ARE NOT A LOVE TRIANGLE!" He barked breathlessly.
"Tch," Daiki said leaning back onto the chair. "You know it wouldn't kill you to be honest. You've been like this ever since we were young you know that? You finally find someone other than us that really cares for you."
Daiki smiled with Kenta as Shugo stopped rambling and took the thought to consideration. Shugo knew Daiki was right. He knew that his temper always gets the best out of him and that Ami really cares for him. But even so, still he felt insecure. Why had Ami fallen for him when she could do so much better?
Daiki and Kenta both winked at him to make sure he got the sign. Shugo sighed, but smirked. "Alright I got it!"
As he stood up Daiki cheered. "That's my boy!"
Shugo shook his head as he walked away leaving Kenta half way faking tears. "They grow up so fast."
Yamato slowly and carefully skid inch by inch towards Ami. He seemed to notice her bothered expression and tried cheering her up with a smile. "Am I that bad of company?"
"Oh that's not it!" Ami quickly disagreed. "It's just that I have alot on my plate right now."
"Like?" He asked with great concern.
Ami didn't want to say her sister was one of the victim of her problems so she decided to say her friend was the one having the problem.. "Well my friend likes this guy she was originally was with, but then he moves away and tells her to move on, and then she's currently dating someone she really likes, but still very much loves the other guy. What would you tell her to do?"
"Wow Ami," Yamato said surprised. "That's really considerate of you."
"Haha thanks." She managed to giggle a little. "Oh, but enough about me. What about you?"
Ami flinched as Yamato's arms slid down to Ami's petite waist. "WAH YAMATO WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"
Yamato smiled while pulling Ami closer. "You're considerate of our relationship. I know that because I've moved away to a different school that caused you to be really depressed and date someone else. But that's okay now since I'm back here with you."
CRAP! Ami cursed in her mind. Yamato had completley misunderstood and was trying to hook up with her again. And she had long forgotten that they somewhat had the same situation, except for the fact that Ami got over him in less than a week and she was in love with Shugo. And then that's when Shugo crossed her mind. She loved everything about him. His hot temperdness, his blunt comments, his hidden caring side. But apparently, loving someone was no match for letting someone fall in love with you. Yamato's lips were just seconds away with meeting Ami's. Ami closed her eyes not struggling. She figured it wouldn't make a difference since she thought Shugo wouldn't care.
Ami sat bracing herself for a kiss she didn't want, but soon realized it hadn't happened. She opened her eyes to see Yamato unconcious on the floor. It seemed the cause of this was a volleyball that was hurled to his head at a great amount of speed.
"Oh that's not good at all." Shugo sarcastically said while examining him.
Ami felt her heart racing as she thought she witnessed a scene from a romance manga. "S-Shugo? Did you do tha-?"
"Look I'm not good with apologies." He grumbled and scratched his head. "I'm not good with relationships either."
Ami blushed as she thought at how cute he was being so stubborn to shadow his shyness. "What I mean to say is I'm sorry."
"I forgive you!" She ran to him tackling him for a hug. "I love you!"
"I know,"
"I really love you!" She shouted getting admiring glances by on lookers.
Shugo was flushed heavily in embarassment. He just patted her head in exchange. "Yeah."
Ami pulled off of him and peered up at him with a shade of pink. "Eh? So that means you love me too?"
This remark only made him grow more red. "WHA? DON'T GET AHEAD OF YOURSELF IDIOT!"
And thus, the two were given more admiring gazes by the on lookers counting Kenta and Daiki, and embraced each other still not being aware of Yamato unconcious on the floor.
:) hehe
Rima ran throughout almost the hotel breathless. When she finally heard signs of chaos she barged into the third floor too late. She quickly lost feelings of exhaustion as she witnessed Kukai on top of Naghiko's back and had him in a choke hold, and Utau no where in sight.
Rima ran over to Kukai still strangling Nagi. "No Kukai! Stop!"
"This old man was making my Utau cheat on me! So what was it? Are you trying to bribe her with money? Or perhaps are you some bastard that has some resentment against me? Which is it?!" He snapped tugging his head back again.
Naghiko turned blue as he was losing air to breathe. He only managed to gag and wave his hands frantically in the air. Rima had no choice, but to tackle the wild Kukai at the side. She charged for him hitting his hip knocking both him and Naghiko down. Naghiko deeply inhaled gazing up into the air as if he had first taken in air. He finched as Kukai jumped back up standing cowboy style.
"Rima stay out of the way! Let justice be served!" He said jumping for him again, but was whacked.
"BAKA!" Utau screamed knocking out a few glasses. "JUST WHAT ARE YOU DOING KUKAI?"
Kukai returned back Utau's punch with a sinister smile. He laughed crazily. "Just what am I doing? HO HO HO do you mean just what are YOU doing?"
Utau's eyebrows creased confused. "What?"
"Kukai thinks you're cheating on him." Rima said still on the floor due to exhaustion.
"YEAH! CHEATER!" He name called as if he was in elementary school. This made Utau only burn with anger.
She cracked her knuckles and frightened Kukai with a far more devilious look. "Oh? So you think I'm cheating?"
Kukai stuttered. "W-Well yeah."
"IDIOT!" She yelled sending a gust of wind hurling him onto the floor. "YOU TELL ME THAT THEN LOOK AT THE PERSON MORE CLOSELY!"
Kukai flinched in fear then did as commanded observing Naghiko. Seconds later...
"Did you send me my Ramen the other day?" He questioned.
Utau knocked out Kukai with a starlight kick. "IT'S NAGHIKO!"
"Nag-hi-ko?" He questioned again squinting his eyes in the direction of Naghiko resting on the ground with Rima. "Oh, well that explains alot."
Before Utau could almost make everyone grow deaf she noticed Yukito walking Lily to her hotel door. She knocked all four of them behind a nearby chair and observantly watched and listened.
"Really thanks for everything." Yukito said with a smile.
Rima carefully whispered. "See, he's thanking her for helping her with finding Amu presents."
"Yeah, but that was really bad of you to do that." Lily pouted.
"OHHHHHHHH," Kukai and Naghiko remarked louder.
Utau silenced Kukai by knocking him over Naghiko. "Shhhh,"
"Oh well sorry if I overworked you." Yukito smirked.
"EHHHH?!" Utau, Kukai, and Naghiko all said almost blowing their cover.
Rima shook her head still very unconvinced. "Guys he meant by work."
"It's okay since I'm flexible." Lily winked and giggled.
The four squatting down behind the plant all deeply blushed hearing Lily. Naghiko, thinking he found out Yukito's true intentions whispered loudly. "SEE RIMA! THAT'S KINKY TALK!"
The brunette next to him nodded and scooted closer to them. "Yeah, let me go catch this on footage!"
"Why does Kukai always have to video tape things." Rima mumbled. "Anyways that's not the important thing! It's just a misunderstanding and-!"
"LET JUSTICE BE SERVED!" Utau screamed all too loudly, making Lily and Yukito notice them hidden behind the plants.
Rima shook her head, pinching the bridge of her nose. "Great, just great."
Staring out of the balcony, he took in the scenery of the beach around the resort he currently resided in and let out a heavy breath. It seems like years since he saw the beautiful sight of his favorite pinkette. Well, only pinkette to be exact. How he yearned to have her, yet he knew that she deserved to see more and experience more in the world without him. He knew it was unfair to keep her at bay, while only holding her to himself. He couldn't keep her waiting forever. The sound of a door opening disturbed his thoughts.
"Mister Tsukuyomi," His assistant said while stepping into his hotel room. "Miss Hinamori would like to see you now."
Again, he let out a breath and forced a weak smile. "Let her in then."
Without a minute passing, Ami Hinamori barricaded through Ikuto's hotel doors with her head held high, her eyes blazing, and a smug grin on her face.
"Ikuto…" Ami says studying him. She noticed how although his exterior appearance was fine, however his eyes and his whole aura surrounding him was different, almost different.
Ikuto stared at the girl slightly shorter than Amu, and was forced to remember all the times he had with her. "Ami how's it-."
Ikuto couldn't even finish his sentence when he felt a cold, hard slap planted firmly on his right cheek. And stunned, he held his cheek casting an incredulous look at the feisty girl in front of him.
I FINALLY UPDATED! I know this chapter was focused mainly on Shugo & Ami, but I wanted them to have a more of a development in the story. And the other characters as well. I honestly had too much fun writing this. Hope you enjoyed!
Thank you reviewers you are amazing!
Love youuu!
