+ Little Gou Hiwatari had a secret. A secret he could never tell his Father, for his Father would be so ashamed of him. Oneshot.
+ Warnings: Ballet, angry Kai, swearing.
+ Disclaimer: I own it not.
+ A/N: Can't remember how I thought of this. At all. None.
Ballet Boy
Little Gou Hiwatari had a secret. A secret he could never tell his Father, for his Father would be so ashamed of him. A secret that Uncle Tala helped him keep. Now, you might be thinking that little Gou's secret was that he had a girlfriend or a secret ant farm under his bed. But no, his secret was much, much worse than that.
Little Gou Hiwatari liked ballet.
Gou dreamed of being the most famous, and the best male ballet dancer in the world. Uncle Tala was helping him with that dream by taking Gou to secret ballet lessons when Gou's Father was out.
Because Gou's Father, Kai Hiwatari, would not like the idea of his son being a ballet dancer.
As Kai left the house to deal with something at the office, Gou slipped upstairs, and grabbed his ballet stuff, throwing it into a bag before taking it back downstairs to the hall, where Tala was waiting to take him to his secret lesson.
"Ready?" Tala asked.
Gou nodded, and looked excited. Tala walked towards the door, beckoning Gou to follow.
"Come on then, ballet boy, let's get you to-" Tala stopped in his tracks, and stopped saying what he was saying when he found himself face-to-face with Kai, who had walked in through the front door, and was now looking most unhappy.
"'Ballet boy'?!" Kai repeated, looking from Tala to Gou to the bag in Gou's hands, from which a pair of ballet pumps were clearly protruding.
"Ah... Kai..." Tala trailed, not quite sure what to say.
"What the bloody Hell are they?!" Kai asked, pointing to the pumps in Gou's bag.
"Well... they're the pumps Gou wears to do his ballet. They have to wear the pumps you see," Tala explained, watching Kai steadily grow angrier.
"Ballet?!"
"Yes, Kai. Ballet."
"How long have you been going to ballet for?!" Kai asked, rounding on Gou.
"Erm... a while," Gou replied sheepishly.
"How long's a while?!"
"Er, a few years, actually," Tala answered.
"A FEW YEARS?! You've been going behind my back for a few bloody years?!"
Tala and Gou winced as Kai continued to yell on. They didn't know whether he was more annoyed because they'd gone behind his back, or because it was ballet.
"You should see him, though, Kai! He's got fantastic legs!" Tala said.
"FANTASTIC LEGS?! You're eyeing up my son, now?!"
"Not in that way, you dick! I mean he's got great legs for ballet!" Tala was seriously beginning to want to hit Kai.
"Erm, I hate to interrupt..." Gou interrupted, "but I need to go to the lesson now. Or I'll be late."
"You're not going," Kai snapped.
"Er, yeah. I am. As you're paying for it," Gou replied, and brushed past his Father and out the door.
As Kai rounded on Tala, aiming to give him a good punching for using his money to take to Gou to stupid ballet lessons, Tala just grinned nervously at Kai, and quickly darted out of the door after Gou.
Before Kai could shut the front door (as he had no longer had to return to work – the issue had been dealt with), Ian came foxtrotting in with Daichi.
"What the bloody Hell are you two doing?! And why are you now in my house?!" Kai yelled. He was sure he was losing his mind.
"Kai, my lad. Dance is the way to go. Now, we must dance some more. In your bed," Ian replied, foxtrotting with Daichi up the stairs.
Kai's right eye twitched. The world had gone fucking mad.
+ A/N: One apologises for the shitty ending, but I just had to get this written out of the way.
