"Why don't you ask her yourself?"
He furrowed his eyebrows questionably at her but she said nothing.
Donna's eyes began to glaze, and she could barely hold the smile that appeared on her face. Her attention fixed somewhere over his shoulder, something that she gestured he should look at. He slowly half turned on the spot and gazed over in the direction, Donna's gaze was.
His eyes widened and stood still. There he saw the figure of her walking slowly down the street.
He couldn't believe it...his Rose...was just over there.
Millions of images blurred through his mind, re-telling their adventures.
The way she glowed when she had absorbed the time vortex just for him. The way her hair blew in the breeze on New New York. The way she giggled when they ran down the streets of London. The way she held his hand when they watched the fireworks fly above them. The way she cried when it was their last goodbye. The way he longed to be with her forever.
Then he ran.
