He quickly cuts off that thread of idle musing. Spira was now off limits to him. He refuses to think about the past he had there and the possible future he could have had. No. No thoughts about Spira, or Zanarkand, or Besaid. No musings on the Church or the Al Bhed or the Ronso. No wondering how Rikku was doing, if Lulu had learned a new spell, or if Wakka had gone back to playing blitzball, or if… if Yuna was safe and happy.

No.

No noise, no wishing, no thinking. Just peace and quiet and solitude.

That's what the Farplane is all about.
