And that concludes this fanfic (finally!). Who saw the ending coming?

...

Friday. D day. Stan stretched in Craig's bed, pushing the sheets in several directions with a huge groan and a yawn to waking up to the alarm blaring. He smacked it down, and rolled to face the window. He had actually started to get used to the routine, and was almost a little sad it had to end. It was almost like a nice little holiday and by three in the afternoon he would have to go back to reality.

Then he remembered that he was pretending to be Craig Tucker, and then he was suddenly wishing for the day to zoom by. No more Clyde being annoying. No more pretending to be anti-social. No more not being around Kyle every day. No more playing father to probably the thirtieth guinea pig Craig's owned. He was looking forward to kissing Bebe.

He jumped in the shower before Ruby could claim it for an hour, and decided to use the shampoo for one last time. It was some fruity smelling stuff and although it made him smell good, it did very little for his nose. He could go back to his wood smelling stuff over the weekend. He used the bubblegum smelling body wash and actually considered buying some. It did wonders for his skin.

He finally got out, slowly ticking things off to do before leaving and not returning until invited back as himself. He got dressed into simple black jeans, black shirt and a blue hoodie. He pulled the chullo on and style his fringe to curl around to the side. He did his best to clean the desk up into some orderly fashion, and he grabbed the blue backpack for the last time.

As if on queue, there was a knock on the door and he came down the stairs to open up. Tweek, Clyde and Token were standing and waiting for him. Stan felt it weird, but he was getting used to waking up to these faces instead of whoever could be bothered picking him up. Maybe he'd make a note to try pick Kyle up again on the way to the bus.

"You look like shit." Token said calmly as Stan closed the door behind him and joined them on the trek to the busstop.

"Yeah well I did beating the shit out of someone. Takes a lot out of a lazy fuck like me." He replied simply, making the point to lift his arm and grab at the little fat pocket hanging down. He was going to enjoy getting back to working out. "I'm looking forward to the weekend."

"Same. Exam studies are killing me." Clyde gave a pout. "I am so ready to get drunk and pass out for a week."

"Maybe we can all go to Raisins or something to take a load off." Stan gave a yawn. "I was up making stupid invites for our year to go."

"We can help hand them out then, sounds great!" Tweek finished, noticing Stan was done talking for their trip.

Craig was standing at the bus stop with Kyle, hands in pockets. The red head had been staring at him and trying to make eye contact with no response. He bit his lip. "Are you okay? It's the last day. Shouldn't you be happy?"

Craig finally looked up and attempted a smile that soon faded as fast. "I guess. But I kinda got used to seeing you all the time. Now that's gonna be cut back." He shrugged and shook his head. "Sorry, I'm very gay."

"Don't apologise dude." Kyle waved him off. "You act like Stan is going to have a say in how often we get to hang out. Which you and I both know won't be happening. I mean if you want to spend more time with me then why don't you just ask me out properly, right now while we're alone."

Craig raised his brow." Is that your roundabout way of asking me to ask you to be my boyfriend? Because that's just devious and I didn't think you were that serious." He let his face fall at the sight of Kyle giving him a look that dared him to question any further. "Fine. Just, be my boyfriend alright?"

"That wasn't asking me, that was telling me. But I'll take it and accept it. There, was that so hard?" Kyle gave a cheeky grin and rocked on his heels. "And once three hits this afternoon you can get changed and we can starting acting like a couple."

"That…sounds good actually." Craig stated with a tone of finality, noticing Kenny and Cartman walking over and bickering over something. He couldn't hear it but he'd always picked up that every morning was a knife fight with whoever would bite at Cartman's latest stupid tangent. He hung his arm around Kyle's shoulder lazily and concentrated on trying to listen in, but Kenny had won the battle before they even hit the busstop. He pulled his hood back and ruffled his hair.

"I envy you both. I wish I had a super best friend I could chill with instead of well, that." He thumbed in the other male's direction, ignoring the remark thrown back at him. "I was trying to talk him out of trying to pick a rematch with Craig coz he thought the left swing was too weak."

"Just give up fat boy, you lost." Craig said as a matter-of-factly, smirking. "Last time I checked Wendy didn't lie sore losers."

"Fuck you Stan. And your fucking sidekick." He snarled and shoved hands into his pockets.

Kenny stared up at the sky. "It's gonna be a long day."

As predicted, the day dragged on. Stan and Craig kept glancing between each other and the clock in their classes. Kyle's pen twiddling was becoming more and more irritable by the second. The last class was usually the best because they let them out early. Meaning that they would be able to finish the bet then and have their lives back.

And as tradition, the class was left out fifteen minutes early due to essays being done in advance and class not being well planned for an hour. The class all got up and left in a slow train, all moving in formation to the lockers. Kyle found Kenny and Clyde just standing in the middle of the hall.

"What are you guys doing?" He asked, holding a book in his arms. The other two just gave a wave.

"Waiting for the crowd to leave so we can get our stuff and leave." Clyde said simply, now watching Bebe stalking over to Craig bent in Stan's locker.

"Hey you." She said softly, waiting patiently for him to turn and smile at her before wrapping her arms around his neck. His hands clamped on her hips and they shared a kiss, however she had an unreadable look on her face and she let her arms slip and fall back to her sides. "Something isn't clicking here…"

She shot a hand out to Stan, who stopped with a slight jolt to avoid crashing into her. "Craig! Can I have you for a second to try something?"

"Oh. I guess." Stan nervously shot a look at Craig, before Bebe had grabbed his face and planted a kiss on his lips. On instinct his hands shot to cup her face, and they held for a bit longer. Their classmates had stopped and begun to stare in awe. Kenny, Clyde and Kyle were onlooking with wide eyes. Stan and Bebe finally broke off the kiss and she pulled back with a slightly irritable look.

"Oh I knew something was off! You guys are dressed as each other!" She finally stated with a slight stomp of the foot. "I thought Stan was just being weird but it wasn't him at all."

Stan and Craig both groaned in unison, Craig grabbing the beanie off his head and slamming it on the ground. "God fucking dammit we had ten minutes left!"

"I FUCKING KNEW IT!" Kenny shouted, pointing in an accusatory manner. "I knew something was off and this asshole told me I was losing it!"

Kyle gaped his mouth a few times, the book slipping from his fingers. Both pretending to be shocked by the news and half hoping Craig wouldn't out him about knowing all along. Craig pushed his fringe to the side angrily as Stan bit his lip and scratched his face. "Kyle didn't know alright? We both swapped when we wanted to go out with him and Bebe. Everything at school however was us being each other."

"Argh! So how long did this even go for?!" Tweek exclaimed.

"As of now it would've been two weeks." Stan finally said, fishing his lens case out and removing the brown contacts. He blinked his blue eyes a few times to get the fluid moving around again. "We set it for exactly two weeks during school and to finish at three today, but I guess some people are smarter than we gave them credit for." He grabbed Bebe's hand. "I'm sorry for the deception but for real I do like you and I did get jealous with you kissing Craig."

"I-I-" She blinked, not sure how to form a sentence.

"For the record, you are a nice kisser and Stan is lucky." Craig gave a thumb up. "But yeah, sorry you had to find out this way. You could've been none the wiser if you hadn't called us out."

"Um hello?" Kenny swung his arms around. "I knew for ages! Is that not worth anything?!"

"Yeah well we lost so Raisins is on us for everyone with an invite." Craig shrugged. "It's either now or tomorrow."

"Oh we're going tonight if that's the case." Clyde added. "We have to know how you guys were doing a lot of things."

"Cool. Can we kind of get changed first? I want my clothes back." Stan finally said with a sheepish grin.

"So, that was really impressive." Token found Kyle leaning on the wall outside, watching members of their year piling into the venue. "Didn't think they'd pull it off."

"Yeah well to be honest it wasn't that hard to convince them." Kyle tapped his nose. "But what have we actually learnt from all this?"

"That you get what you want." Token finally joined him against the wall. "I have to admit, you were very spot on with Craig taking the opportunity to pounce on you during this. For Kenny to try solve it, and for guessing you'd pick after a day that they'd actually done it. I was actually worried that you wouldn't be able to convince them to do this at all and then it all fell into place. I underestimated your ability to be a devious, manipulating little shit."

"Yeah well you know how they all say who runs the school is never really the figurehead." Kyle held his hand out, in which Token placed a larger bag of wrapped cash over. "I run this school, and everyone in it. They just don't know it."

"And never will. Because I for one will like to keep all this between us." Token gave a chuckle. "I actually enjoy my money going to someone like you, you know? And that final act where you acted like you didn't even know? Absolutely perfect."

"What made it better is Stan didn't even know I knew all along." Kyle shoved the bag into his pocket and laughed. "It's been really fun either way. We all got what we wanted in the end."

"I still need to hear stuff on how they got away with it though." He motioned for them to enter. "However, do you think you could make other people do things now that this has happened?"

Kyle gave Token a clap on the back. "My dude, like you stated. You seriously underestimate my ability."

"Good. So, how about another bet?"

Kyle gave a devious grin. "Are you sure you want to do that? Knowing what I'm capable of? Because remember the line well if you wanna do this."

"Right, right. You truly rule the school Broflovski."
