And the Mega-Update continues! Lol. Larxene and Namine this time, my favorite Kingdom Hearts girlies. ^__^
Not yuri, a bit more platonic this time around, but I still am in love with this story. It has already become one of my favorites. Lawl.
I OWN NOTHING! And with that said, here we go. Enjoy!

The Time to Bloom - Prologue
Nurse Larxene Renae groaned as she slumped into one of the chairs in the break room. She looked at the clock that read 8pm. Just two more hours and she could go home. Thank. God. She had just opened the soda she had snagged from the communal fridge when one of the newbie nurses, Olette, walked up to her.
"Um, Larxene, Dr. Even's looking for you." The blonde groaned.
"Now?"
"He said to get you ASAP, sorry." The girl's smile was apologetic.
"Fine. Where is the man?"
"Front desk."
-------------------------------
"About time, Larxene! Dr. Vexen Even snapped. He was lounging in a computer chair behind the front desk, a short stack of manila folders in his lap.
"I had just started my break. What do you want?" She crossed her arms in front of her, clearly not amused. Dr. Even grabbed the top folder from his pile and opened it up.
"You got a new one, Larxene." The blonde woman sighed. This was never an easy thing for her, she hated her job in the terminal ward.
"A female", continued Vexen skimming the file contents, "about 13 or 14 years old, arrived a week ago via ambulance after collapsing at the Traverse Town Community Park. She suffered a small seizure and was kept in the IC unit until diagnosed with multiple organ failure and transferred to the terminal ward twenty minutes ago. She didn't respond to any type of treatment through an IV or anything else we tried. The list of all the tests taken are in the folder. My guess is that she has month left, if that, at the rate her organs are shutting down." He held out the folder to Larxene who took it and, without saying anything, turned to make her way to the terminal ward.
When she reached the room, number 12, that the file specified, Larxene took a quick breath and gathered herself before opening the door and stepping inside. The small girl propped up against the pillows of the hospital bed turned to give, what Larxene guessed, was a significantly dimmer version of a normally brilliant smile. Larxene couldn't help herself and gave a small smile back.
"Hi, I'm Larxene and I'm going to be looking after you for as long as you need." She said and hoped it was reassuring.
"Thank you." Came the weak, but bell-like, toned answer.
"My name is Namine." The small girl smiled again.

And so it begins. Um, all that medical jargon was just pulled out of my head so if it's incorrect in any ways, procedure-wise, please say something to help me fix it. Lol. But yeah, anyways, I hope you all like it enough to want more; let me know with reviews! On with the Mega-Update tomorrow!
