I know, I know. You guys are all like "WTF? Were have you been all this time?" Well, all I can say is that life happened and along the way I lost my drive to continue this story. Now, I continued to harbor a love for this idea, which is why I never put it up for adoption. I will keep to my promise to my beta and myself and I will at least finish this story. I hope that you guys enjoy it!

This chapter is dedicated to user sweetteatwo. Thank you for sticking by me from the beginning!

Snape's hands were rough as they caressed the side of Neville's face and threaded through his long charred colored hair. Neville gasped as the fingers balled in his hair, Snape's arm dragging him closer into his arms, his lips devouring and dominating Neville's. He sighed breathing through his nose, his hands gripping Snape's arms trying to gain purchase, in a situation he felt weightless in. He moaned as the pain of his scalp got stronger and he was pulled away from the hungry kiss.

"S-S-Severus…" Neville stuttered his hands reaching up to attempt to detangle Snape from his hair.

"Stop Neville. Me gripping you by your hair is keeping me from gripping you by your neck. I'm so angry right now, that all I can do is kiss you senseless, less you regale me with a very good excuse as to why you left me and the wizardly world thinking you dead." He paused, taking his other arm and taking Neville by the waist pulling his flush against his own lean body. "And taking my child with you." Neville's breath hitched, he palms sweating as he began to wonder where his child was.

"Severus? Where is Kari?" Worry lined the edges of his eyes. His hands now uselessly sat behind Snape's back.

"You should worry about yourself Neville." Snape growled his voice lowering in his anger, his eyes starting to dilate with memories of the nights he spent with Neville on every surface applicable. His breathing became heavier and he lifted Neville up for another searing kiss.

"Don't worry," he whispered when they broke apart, "she is safe. I sent her to a safe place so you and I can talk." He released Neville, pushing him away; Severus felt angry with himself for losing control.

He was supposed to be angry with Neville. He was supposed to get information on the other missing boys, but all he could think about was how happy he was to see Neville happy and healthy. How, he was filled to the brim with love for this man, who had his child and raised her to the best of his abilities. And then the anger came, swift and rugged, if anything it was akin to deep-seated rage, for all the lost time.

Neville rubbed his arms, feeling cold and alone after being in Snape's arms after so long. He was feeling exposed and knew that in the next few minutes he would have to spill everything. He put more distance between him and Snape, opting to sit in a large leather chair near the end of his bed. It was what he used to feed and rock Kari to sleep when she was younger. The memories made his eyes start to well up with tears, but he quickly pushed his raging emotions down. He needed a clear head. He needed Snape to understand that everything that was going to be said was said honestly and with a clear mind. Snape followed suit and sat on the edge of the bed. His eyes never left Neville. Severus feared that, if Neville had the chance, he would just rocket out of the room, to some grand escape away from him. He shook his head at his musings, and cleared his throat: it was either now or never.

"So I guess you want to know why I did what I did?" He fingered one of his locks of hair, nervously rubbing it between his index finger and his thumb. "Would you believe me if I said that I did it for you?" Neville watched as Snape's eyes widened. "Would you believe me if I told you that I was afraid? Afraid of parenthood, afraid of how you would react to it? Of how others would react to it? I didn't want to make you chose between your job, and me and I was afraid of the choice you would make. That, in the end, your job would place higher on your list of important things. You have to understand Severus that my Grandmother wasn't the best parent in the world, but she was all I had. I tried so hard to make her happy. To be like my father, to be the perfect child, to make up for the lost that she gained when I became her ward…But there was nothing in this world other than my parents that could fill that void. I was just her bumbling grandchild that messed up. And I couldn't take that from you. I couldn't stand there and take that chance that you would look me in the eye and tell me that I wasn't good enough. And I know it was unfair and selfish, and completely " Neville stopped for a deep breath, "completely…"

"Insensitive to my feelings?" Snape asked standing up, "uncaring, stupid, dangerous, and uncalled for?" Neville looked up, watching as Snape stepped closer with every word, until he bent down in front of Neville, cupping his face, "understandable?" he finished.

Neville hiccupped before the emotions he had harbored in the back of his throat, the hurricane raging in his chest and belly, burst forth and wrecked havoc on the outside word, starting firstly with his face.

Snape pulled his close and whispered, "It's ok. I understand why you did this. I understand it. That doesn't mean I forgive you just yet. I-I love you Neville, and I want to spend the rest of my life with you and Kari. Maybe have another one or two children, if you're willing, but I need you to understand this." He paused, using his thumbs to wipe the tears from Neville's face, which was now puffy and red and adorable, "I need you to trust me." He looked deep into Neville's eyes, "I need you to talk to me, to tell me these things, the good and the bad, the scary and the beautiful, because if you had talked to me, the you would have known, that Dumbledore knew about our relationship, because I was petitioning for a marriage license." He kissed Neville tenderly this time, mapping out the contours of his face with his lips, ending his journeys sucking the bottom lip and starting a new journeying in the hot cavern that the puffy lips guarded.

"Come Home." Snape said, rubbing his check with Neville's, "It's time for you to come home."

Latrice was at a loss. Should she leave Harry? Should she drag him to the closest floo? There were so many thoughts going through her head that all she could do was stand there and stare at her husband, Tatsumi, with pure panic. They stared at one another and she could hear the world racing past her, sinking and rising, her heart stuttering on it's next beat, watching as Tatsumi got closer and closer to her. The staring contest was interrupted as a savagely awakened father-to-be streaked across the room, with Draco screaming, "Harry!" at the top of his lungs. He lunged across the room in seconds, skidding to a halt in front of Harry, his hands wavering as he tried to figure out how he could be helpful.

"Harry, Harry darling are you alright?" he asked placing his arm over Harry's shoulder, relinquishing Latrice from her duty. Or so he thought. He found a fight in his attempt to corral Harry. Latrice, bent close to Harry's ear asked, "Will you be alright if I leave you now?" Hope was evident in her voice. Harry looked at her, his eyes wide and fearful and whispered a completely honest, "No." Latrice nodded her head, and grimaced: there was nothing she could do about it. Her running away just ended. And it seemed that it was going to be the same for the others.

"Who is this Harry you speak of?" Latrice asked, making her fake accent extremely heavy, "This is Hasma, my cousin. She has baby now." She gripped Harry's arm, trying to look and see where Ron had gone. She saw that, much like her Harry, his mate had tracked him down. Krum had him cornered already; at the moment he was being kissed senseless. As she watched Krum's hand was sliding up the blue pencil skirt that Ron was wearing cupping Ron's ass. He was no help. He was a goner.

"Hasma you say?" Draco inquired, taking the collar of Harry's shirt and ripping it to the point of his shoulder was clearly visible. "Then why is my mark here? I only put this on Harry!" Latrice couldn't even come up with a reply before she was grabbed and pulled away from Harry, and a voice rang out singing like a canary, "That's Harry." Latrice struggled against her husband's hands knowing that it was futile. She was too stubborn to give up, and sent a scathing look towards the little birdy who needed its beak broken.

"Zabini you fucking snitch." Latrice growled her voice guttural in her anger. Blaise just looked at her like she was in the wrong and shook his head in disappointment, "This is for the best."

Draco picked up Harry rushing towards the nurse's office, while Latrice continued to try and escape the grip on her wrist. She turned towards him, and blinked as he kissed her. He pulled away telling her, "We need to talk."

Jorge found himself more and more irritated the longer it took him to find Hermione. Killing those idiotic students didn't do anything to sate his bloodlust and need for revenge. Not in the least bit. More than anything he was contemplating just killing the entire school and being done with this entire farce. Evidentially hhhhhhaisfnjwlfHarry had some guardian angel that was hiding him from the wrath of over twenty decades of hate. If he couldn't start with Harry, maybe it was best to leave him for last.

Yes, he thought to himself that sounds delicious. That way when I eat him, I will have evolved to a better me, I will save him for last. Jorge smiled to himself as he passed a loud commotion in the main hall. What the hell was going on? He pushed the boy in front of him, looking appropriately embarrassed, knowing that the person would think it was an accident. He had a clear view of the room now. He sucked in a breath as he saw what was before him. The trio, the red-headed slut in the corner, the brainy bitch holding some piece-of-shit Slytherin's hand and Harry, plump, in pain, and ripe for the killing.

Thank you, world, for the pleasure I am about to receive.

Beta and Author Notes

A/N: So, I sort of have an idea on how I am going to finish this story, but at the same time I'm still winging it. I like to organically make stories, sometimes having tropes and sometimes trying to avoid tropes. Nevertheless, I'm hoping to finish this in maybe three to five more chapters. So thanks!

B/N: Feedback is welcomed and greatly appreciated!
