This is sort of a sequel to Walk Like An Egyptian, in which Charmy gives us his comments about that song... this time, they're in a rather difficult situation... and Charmy decided to click Shuffle Songs on his iPod, and got the song Detainer by Day of Fire.
Vector clung to Espio's legs, and (because of Vector's insistence), Espio clung to Charmy's legs. Of course, the chameleon felt like his legs were getting pulled off because of Vector's weight, but he didn't think it would be a good time to tell the crocodile to go on a diet. Charmy's legs probably felt even worse anyhow. The bee was doing his best to fly forward, but the most he could do was move forward a few centimeters every few minutes, the wind was quite strong and was trying to push them sideways. "Guys, do you mind if I listen to my iPod?"
"No." Said Vector, he heartily approved Charmy listening to music, as long as he was using his own headphones and not Vector's.
"Thanks." Said Charmy, seemingly not noticing that Espio hadn't said anything. He pulled it out of his pocket and clicked Shuffle Songs. He grinned and started nodding his head to the music.
Hey, what's it gonna take to bring you home?
Hey, what's it gonna take to break that hold?
"What song are you listening to Charmy?" Vector asked in a loud voice, to be heard over the wind.
"Detainer by Day of Fire." Said the bee.
"Oh, um... could you change it?" Asked Vector nervously, remembering the lyrics for that song.
"Nope." Said Charmy. He liked the song, and what else? He'd stopped moving forward towards land, he was hanging right above one of Eggman's flag ships. Surprisingly, they weren't getting shot at.
If you want it,
If you want it if you want it
Then let go
If you want it
If you want it if you want it then let go
Charmy looked down at his compatriots. 'Let go?' He thought. 'Maybe they should... my legs are killing me.' He bent slightly and his teammates swayed.
"WATCH IT!" Yelled Vector, getting panicked, he had somehow managed to pull himself up and was now clinging to Espio's waist, which made the purple chameleon quite uncomfortable.
"Sorry.... you'd think I was dr...." He stopped. Then smirked, maybe he should...
Hey, what's it gonna take to bring you home
Hey, what's it gonna take to break that hold
He bent over again and pried Espio's hands off his legs and waved as they fell towards the ship. "I'll see you back at the agency!" He called, it turned out that it was Vector's bulk that had stopped him from moving faster. He zipped around in circles, watching them go down.
If you want it,
If you want it if you want it
Then let go
If you want it
If you want it if you want it then let go
The two Chaotix crashed into the ship deck. Vector clambered up, cradling his head, but got into a fighting position when he noticed that they were surrounded by robots. "Vector, why is it that your indulging in Charmy's new musical whims keeps on getting us into trouble?"
"What?" Asked Vector, who was now listening to some loud music with a strong beat that actually made Espio feel it's vibration through his whole body.
"Nevermind." He muttered.
Hope you liked it! :D I was bored, I was listening to Imogen Heap's song Canvas, I had got Detainer on "shuffle songs" before that, and I just went back to read Walk Like An Egyptian so I decided to make a sequel. :D R&R and tell me what you think.
