Sorry for not updating this story in so long. I had writers block and I am also working full time and doing home renovations as well. I will try to update this a bit more.

Chapter 59

~~∞∞Ω∞∞~~

Dinner was a fun affair once Yugi got over the fact that they were at an expensive restaurant and had to order something more than a salad. In the end Seto got Atemu and Yami to choose something more for him to eat. Yugi had refused at first but when the meal came out he really didn't have a choice as the meal had already been made and it would have been a waste to not eat it.

They were not going to let him just eat a salad. It would not help him with the pups that were growing inside of him to allow him to do just that. They ended up ordering him a steak with potatoes, carrot, mushroom and peas. They figured he would like and eat that. They didn't have much in the way of vegetables back at the den, it was whatever they could find at the time around them.

Yugi was tired when they got back and decided to head off to bed but would not allow Atemu and Yami to accompany him. He wanted Atemu to catch up with Seto as they hadn't seen each other in a long time. He even kicked Yami out of the room to catch up as well. He knew they were worried about him, even though they didn't need to be. He was safe in the mansion and besides who was wanting to come after him.

Yugi had finished having a shower and then climbed into bed after putting on some clothes. Yugi didn't know what it was but he just could not fall asleep at all. He just tossed and turned for a good hour and slowly and finally started drifting off to sleep. Yugi jolted awaken when he felt the bed move and looked around and saw Yami was frozen looking at him.

"Sorry we were trying to not wake you." Yami said as he climbed the rest of the way into bed.

"It's alright I was having trouble falling asleep."

"Are you ok?" Atemu asked.

"Yeah it's just strange to sleep somewhere I'm not used to or alone now."

Atemu smiled as he turned out the lights and slid into bed with them. Yugi smiled feeling them bundle him between them. Yugi suddenly found himself very sleepy and quickly drifted off to sleep. Atemu and Yami looked at him before falling asleep themselves.

Yugi, Yami and Atemu had spent a couple of weeks in the city and it was soon time to leave. Yugi was extremely disappointed that it had to end so soon but he had no choice. They had to leave soon before the more wild weather started to set in. They had stayed with Seto and Jou the whole time since Atemu and Yami still couldn't trust his grandfather completely or maybe it was the others that worked with him. Staying with Seto and Jou was a safety decision since no one would attack the mansion without the press finding out.

Yugi's stomach had grown a bit in the month that he found out he was pregnant. He wasn't big yet and he had a month more to decide if he would stay human through the rest of the pregnancy or if he would stay as a wolf. It would be around the end of the rainy season when he would give birth.

Yugi looked towards the front of the mansion where the limo was driving up. His grandfather climbed out and walked up the stairs to greet them.

"You ready to go?"

"Yeah. I don't want to go but I know we need to leave."

"Where are you going?"

"I…"

"We can't tell you that." Atemu said cutting Yugi off. "Please understand that it is for the pack and our pup's safety. You work with hunters so we can't tell you that."

"Fair enough." Solomon said.

Solomon saw Seto and Jou walk out of the mansion towards them. They were going to see them off in the next town where they would catch the next train heading back the way they came. Solomon had been picked up so that Yugi could say goodbye when they went to drop him back at the shop before heading to the next town.

"You ready to go?" Seto asked.

"Yes Seth we are." Atemu said.

"Let's go."

They all headed back down the stairs and into the limo. Yugi sat next to his grandfather who was hugging him for as long as he could. The car ride finished quicker than Yugi would have liked to the game shop. Solomon climbed out of the car as Yugi hurried after him and stood beside him outside taking one last look at the shop before he left. Yugi suddenly had tears collecting in his eyes at the fact he was leaving his grandfather again and he wasn't sure when he would see him again. Solomon wrapped his arms around Yugi tightly hugging him when he saw the tears and this made Yugi start crying.

"It will be ok Yugi. You were never going to stay living with your grandfather for the rest of your life. You were always going to find someone to fall in love with and move in together. It just happened differently for you."

"I never planned on leaving the city though."

"Life doesn't always turn out as we planned. But you have some very loving and protective mates. I think that is a bonus for you."

"I will miss you."

"Oh Yugi. I will miss you too. This time I know you are alive. Even if I don't know where you are."

Yugi wrapped his arms tightly around his grandfather knowing he won't see him for years. Solomon wrapped his arms around Yugi in return. Solomon pulled away knowing that if he didn't let him go he probably would not want to. Yugi looked up at Solomon as he pulled away and knew he had to go.

"You take care of yourself and the little one ok. I will see you when you come back ok."

"Well according to Atemu I could have a litter if I stay changed."

"Oh my." Solomon gasped making Yugi giggle. "Are you going to stay changed?"

"I don't know yet. I don't really know what to do."

"You do what feels right for you and not for your mates."

"I know."

"Yugi we better get going if we want to get to our next destination." Yami called from in the limo.

Yugi sighed as he stepped away from Solomon knowing he was right. Yugi wished they could stay longer but they had to go. Solomon gave Yugi one more hug before he stepped aside to let Yugi get into the limo. Solomon shut the door to the limo and as soon as he did the window rolled down. Yugi looked out the window at Solomon as Yami leaned up beside him.

"You two take care of my grandson and great-grandchild or great-grandchildren."

"We will. We will come back when they are old enough."

"I look forwar to it."

"Bye Gramps." Yugi said as the limo started moving.

"Bye Yugi. I love you." Solomon called out as it disappeared.

Yugi sighed as he sat back against the seat of the limo. Yami wrapped his arm around him and pulled him close. Atemu was sitting across from them with Seto and Jou. Atemu leaned forward watching Yugi was looking at the floor of the limo.

"Yugi?" Yami said softly.

"Yeah?"

"What are you thinking?"

"When am I able to see him again?"

"When the pups are old enough to travel." Atemu spoke.

"Probably 5 to 8 year's time." Yami said.

"We can always organise to meet somewhere with your grandfather Yugi. You will see him again." Seto spoke up from beside Atemu.

"Really?"

"Of course." Seto said as he sat back. "When have you known me to say something I don't mean."

Yugi smiled and nodded at Seto and leaned into Yami. Yugi looked out the window to see they were leaving the city. Yugi shut his eyes as he leaned his head on Yami's shoulder.

"How long is this part of the trip?" Yugi asked.

"About 3hrs." Jou said. "Sleep if you need it buddy."

"But…" Yugi said as he opened his eyes.

"Rest buddy. You are pregnant, so it makes sense you are tired. Besides you have a long journey ahead."

"Rest for an hour or so Yugi. I'll wake you before we get there." Yami said as he pulled him a little closer.

"Ok."

Yugi shut his eyes and slowly fell asleep against Yami's shoulder. Yami smiled and looked to Atemu who was watching closely. Atemu looked at Yami and slowly sat back with a nod. He was slightly worried about what the trip back to the den would be like for Yugi, especially if Yugi decided to stay human for the pregnancy.

"Atemu?" Yami asked.

"It's nothing Yami."

"So what shall we do to keep in contact?" Yami asked.

"I have a satellite phone for you to take with you. That way if you need something you can contact us." Seto spoke, handing over a waterproof bag with a phone inside to Atemu.

"Thankyou Cousin."

Atemu took the bag from Seto and placed it in his own bag that had some clothes and food in there. Atemu and Seto kept talking quietly with each other so as to not wake Yugi. Yami sat quietly in the limo as they drove to their destination.
