"You know that I do"

SUMMARY: Kyouhei gets invited to a party by an old friend. This friend happens to know a lot about him and Sunako reacts in ways she didn't know.

SUNAKO'S P.O.V

The dazzling creatures are all eating my meal and they all seemed to like it. Kyouhei seems very content. My heart skipped a beat. Wait, what?! How could that happen?

"Hey, Sunako, I want another one." Kyouhei said to me. He looks so.. handsome. I thought my nose was gonna bleed.

"Yeah. Okay." I took the rice bowl and refilled it. "Here you go."

"Thanks." He smiled at me. I sighed. I needed to know what was wrong with me.

"Hey, Sunako." Ranmaru said. I looked at him. "Your face is so red."

I paused then shook my head. "I'm a little tired that's all."

"Oh. I think you should get some rest." Yuki suggested. "Kyouhei, did you know that a letter came in for you?"

He stopped eating then looked at Yuki. He sighed then reacted as if Yuki hasn't said anything. I know why he's reacting that way. He doesn't get any letter except fan letters.

"Kyouhei, it's an invitation. It says that your friend, Suki, is celebrating her birthday." Takenaga explained.

"Then, I'll go." Kyouhei said without raising his eyes. I wonder who this Suki girl is. She seems to be important to Kyouhei.

"It's a by-pair entrance party. You need a partner." Ranmaru said.

"Okay, then." The dazzling creature calmly said. "Sunako, would you be my date then?" he looked at me.

"Why me?" A response that I have gotten used to.

"I want to go with you."

"That's not enough reason. I'll probably melt there."

"You won't. I won't let you melt there." Kyouhei looked at me with sincere and care in his eyes that I felt the blood rush to my face.

"Okay."

The party was only two days ahead and we prepared. They forced me to prepare actually. Kyouhei wore a dark blue long sleeved polo with the top buttons open and slacks. I wore, was forced to wear, a black halter dress and my hair in a bun with some curls falling in the side. We entered the party then met Suki.

She was very beautiful. She had short chestnut brown hair and almond eyes framed by long lashes. She also has a very nice figure. She spent most of the night talking with Kyouhei. He seems happy that she is. I sighed. There was something between them that I didn't want to see. But what? And, why should I care?

I escaped to the patio. The love that they had was too much to take. I didn't want to admit it but I have fallen inlove for the dazzling creature. Seeing him with Suki made my heart throb with so much pain. I needed to go back to my darkness and forget this realization.

"What are you doing here?" I knew that voice and I turned around. Kyouhei.

"Shouldn't you be with Suki?" the acid leaked into my voice without my notice.

"What? Is that jealousy?"

"Yes." I admitted. "So what if it is? It's not as if you care."

"Why would you be jealous of a guy?"

"Guy?"

"Oh, I mean gay. Suki is a gay. She doesn't what this party but has it for her parents to accept the truth."

I was dazed. "Are you serious?"

He nodded then became serious. "You don't have to be jealous. You know that I love you."

"What?"

"I love you, Nakahara Sunako. You know that I do."

I smiled. "Yeah. I guess some part of me did. I love you,too, Takano Kyouhei"
