Sink Into Me
The music was pounding through her chest as she listened. She bobbed her head to the beat. Loud bass, loud guitar and smashing cymbals on the drum set. What more could a girl want?
"Hey, I got you some water." Namine turned around; a water bottle was thrust into her face. She laughed, though she could most likely not be heard, and took said bottle of water.
"Thanks Axel!" She yelled, opening the water to take a sip. "It's just what I needed." He nodded and grinned. Namine turned back to the stage, squinting to see what they were doing with the guitars. She jumped when Axel let his arm rest on her shoulder, spilling her water all over herself. A wet spot was spread across her white shirt.
"Oops. Sorry." Axel said, just loud enough for her to hear him. Namine just stared at him with a disproving look.
"You just can't help yourself, can you?" She asked him, tugging at her shirt now, attempting to dry it with her mouth.
"I hope that's a rhetorical question." He said under his breath as he watched her. She scoffed and pushed her water into his hands. "Um. What exactly are you doing?" He questioned as Namine pulled her shirt up over her head.
"I hope that's a rhetorical question" She mimicked while wringing out her shirt. "Oh please. It's not like you aren't looking already. It's just a swimsuit since someone can't control themselves." Namine tossed the shirt into Axel's hands and snatched her water back.
"Wait. That's not fair." He said, laughing as he hung the shirt over his shoulder. "I didn't mean it. And just so you know, I wasn't looking." He took a quick glance at her again. It was a bikini top, he noticed, rather than a one piece swimsuit. "Petite blondes aren't my type. Got it memorized?"
Namine laughed at this and finished off her water, tossing the bottle behind her to Axel. He ducked it and it hit the guy behind him. "Whatever. Time to go, this band sucks." She said before moving through the crowd.
"Hey wait!" Axel yelled out, following her. That's all he seemed to be doing lately. He rolled his eyes and cleared his head, searching the area for Namine's beer soaked blonde hair. He spotted her standing by the park entrance, a bored look plastered onto her face.
"Come on." She rushed him as he walked over to join her. "I just want to get back to our room and…"
"And?" He persisted, playfully elbowing her in the side.
"And relax. Draw you. Shower. Sleep. Just sit around not at this concert?" She listed off some things, before hooking her arm in Axel's. "Maybe a midnight swim? You're invited." She added, looking up thoughtfully at him to see his reaction.
"You may have yourself a deal…" He trailed off, "Wait, you said 'you' then 'shower' so…" He looked at her face and grinned. "You mean I can shower with you?"
"No." She answered laughing. "I said we could go for a midnight swim. Together."
"There's something else to it isn't there?" He asked knowingly.
"Well…we could leave our suits in the room…" Namine said sweetly, stroking Axel's arm. "Or, if you would prefer it, we could just stay in the room. Sans suits of course." She looked up at him, grinning devilishly as he raised an eyebrow.
"When it really comes down to it, I actually like your ideas." He laughed out, letting his fingertips brush her hip.
