Climbing onto the deck of the Oro Jackson, returning from a brief visit into a village, young Shanks and Buggy clambered onto the deck. It was beginning to get dark, so most of the crew who weren't preparing the ship to set sail were starting preparations for bed, most having eaten in the village pub beforehand. Shanks and Buggy walked in contented silence side-by-side onto the deck, until that silence was broken by a muffled giggle from Buggy.
"Yo, Buggy. What are you up to now?" Asked Shanks, never turning his head.
"Nothing, Baka!" retorted Buggy. "Mind your own business!"
"Oh please, Buggy. I can tell your giving me a big lie right there." Chuckled Shanks, who was easily able to tell when his comrade was stretching the truth.
"Oh okay, come with me back here… WHO'RE YOU CALLING A BIG NOSE?!"
All Shanks could do was laugh as Buggy led him to the back of a deck, and pulled both the boys down behind some barrels in front of the ship rail.
"Now, listen Shanks. Look; I managed to get three bottles of rum before we left. We can split these evenly if…"
"Now, now, now. What do you children have here?" Said a voice, looming over the boys.
Both boys turned guilty around to the towering figure of Silvers Raleigh. He stood over them, arms crossed and an eyebrow cocked.
"Uhm… nothing!" Nervously replied Buggy, as he tried to conceal the rum bottles.
"Hahahaha, boys. That doesn't look like nothing to me. Now, why don't you share some of that rum with me… eh?" Chuckled Raleigh.
"Okay…" Started Buggy.
"Who should divide the bottles for us?" Questioned Shanks.
"What do you mean? There are three of us, and three bottles in total! We each get one, baka!" Cried Buggy, who didn't realize he spoke too soon.
Quick as he finished that sentence, Buggy was face down on the deck floor, a bump already forming on the back of his head.
"OW!" he cried. "What was that for?!" Yelled Buggy, rubbing the forming bump on his head.
Raleigh withdrew his hand.
"Now now Buggy, Raleigh-san is one, so he should have TWO bottles to make three. And since, we are two, we should only have ONE to make three."
Raleigh chuckled. "A wise boy you are Shanks. It is sometimes easy to forget that you are so young. When did you learn such wisdom?"
"Ah, that would be when you slapped Buggy." Replied Shanks, who was grinning widely with his truthful reply.
Raleigh chuckled, took his two bottles, and walked away, laughing a he took a swig. Shanks looked at Buggy, who had a murderous look in his eyes and said, "Ill go get some glasses." And walked away, not wishing to receive Buggy's violent raging emotions right now.

A/N: I hope you found that cute. The (moral? lesson?) Is similar to an African folk tale, which name escapes me. (If anyone remembers, feel free to tell me)
I'm thinking of making this a series of little Shanks/Buggy drabbles. Feedback? Suggestions? Please tell me so!
