Avatar the last Airbender is an amazing show that gives the opportunity to ship people we know that belong to each other, even thought they never met in the show itself.
I don't own it.
This is super cracky, so you may be high for awhile.

The Royal Fire Academy for Boys taught him many things. Loyalty to your parents, your country, respect for the other nations. Honour, duty, and pride for the Fire Nation. Stealth training, weapons training, and everything a nobleman needed to become a gentleman. He hates every minute of it. Six months of listening to lectures on the importance of manners, politics, and practicing in front of the weapons master, over and over again. He misses his friends.
So he escapes. In the middle of the night, with nothing but a knapsack with some food, he leaves a note for them to find. He manages to sneak past the guards posted at the gate.
On his journey, he meets up with a couple of nomads. He praises the spirits when they finally leave him. Random nonsense aout the cave of two lovers, ha!
When he gets to Omashu, His sister's guards manage to capture him.(If he hadn't been distracted, he would have come by himself. Stupid Mai. At least he got to use his knife skills)
They take him to her governor's mansion, where he meets an angry Mai. She points towards her office, and he walks in. The doors shut behind them. Inside, Jet is sitting on the desk, his arms crossed, frowning.
The rant wasn't at long as it could be. She mostly says something about "worrying out of their minds" and "begging the avatar and Zuko for help.'' There was also something about a bounty hunter named Jun.
Jet smiles and winks behind her, then she catches him and whacks him on the head.
She leaves in a huff, muttering something about their parents and a messenger hawk.
Jet lets him go. He understands.
He wonders if its worth it, getting into all that trouble, just for his friend with a strange name. He ponders this while sitting on her gate, waiting for her to come back from school.
She walks up the road, not seeing him at first. He calls her name, a short yell, almost.
"Hope!"
She looks up in surprise. The smile that slaps across her face is huge.
"Tom-tom!" She screams out his name, and runs, closing the distance between them, finally hugging him in a bone crunching embrace.
Yeah, it's worth it.

This drabble would not leave me alone. Arrgh! I kept on having to rewrite, because I know it could be better. Please review, and if not, eh, I don't need the ego boost.
