Ooooh. That cloud looks like a monkey!
Gasp! That one looks like a lion. Run monkey!!
Oooh! Look! An angel!
Wow, that looks like a pitch fork.
Aww… that one just looks like cotton.
That one looks like…Chad Dylan Cooper eating frozen yogurt?!
Suddenly droplets of frozen yogurt dropped on my face.
I blinked three times. "Chad Dylan Cooper!!" I shouted annoyed.
"I knew you've always loved my name." He grinned as he pulled back, taking another spoonful of frozen yogurt. He sat down beside me.
"Great. I was having a great day. Then YOU show up to interrupt it." I said as I sat up. True enough I was so happy lying down on my back here in the middle of the park looking for shapes in the clouds until Cooper here made it rain frozen yogurt. I wiped the frozen yogurt off my face and wiped it on his jacket sleeve
His face twisted in disgust as he watched my hand.
He cleared his throat. "So what were you doing lying down on the ground? I thought you were dead or something." He stated as 'I don't care-ish' as he could. I could sense the worry deep deep down in it. I grinned.
"I was just looking at the shapes of the clouds actually." I closed my eyes as the sun's rays shone into my face before it hid one again behind the clouds.
"Ah." I heard him say. I opened my eyes and saw that he was, once again, eating another spoonful of frozen yogurt.
I looked back up to the clouds and at the corner of my eye (not that I'm looking at him through the corner of my eyes. That's just… psh!) I could see him glance at the stain in his jacket form the frozen yogurt I wiped on him and up at me then back and forth.
Then suddenly something happened that I did not expect. He reached out and dumped a spoonful of his frozen yogurt on my face.
"Chad!!!!!!!" I screamed as the creamy yogurt fell into my face. I sat upright and wiped my face furiously. "What was that for?!" I screamed.
"You wiped yogurt on my jacket." He said with a shrug as he helped himself with another spoonful.
"This… its… but… you…!" I stammered.
He was about to get another spoonful when I took his hand and shoved the spoon to my mouth. Mmmm. Strawberry.
He was looking at me with a curious, annoyed, and amused expression.
"Ha!" I said as I swallowed the frozen yogurt. It felt so good after just lying here under the clouds.
"And what was that supposed to prove?" Chad asked as he had another spoonful of frozen yogurt.
"Ugh!" I shouted exasperatedly. I am not ever going to admit this to him but he made a really good point. I wiped my yogurt-y face and wiped my hand on the grass. At the corner of my eye (again I'm not watching his every move at the corner of my eyes… I mean… psh… please…), I could see him placing his frozen yogurt cup down.
"You missed a spot." I faced him and was shocked to see that he was leaning towards me. He leaned in a little more and kissed me, dragging his lips along my lower lip and to the corner of my mouth. With that he pulled back and licked his lips.
I blushed a deep red as he picked up his cup of frozen yogurt again and started eating eat as if nothing happened.
I looked at him with a something-mnumental-happened-and-you-just-eat-there-as-if-nothing-happened kind of look, and then sighed exasperatedly. I lay back down on my back and watched the clouds.
Oh look. A cloud shaped like a heart.
I know. Kind of random. I dunno. It just came to me as something that Chad and Sonny would do in a park. :)
