Lady Monozuki: I wrote this to make me laugh. I hope you enjoy.

Fuji never cared for being discreet about his relationships. On top of his reputation of being a (sadistic) tensai, he also maintained one of possessiveness. Whenever he set his eyes on someone, everyone steered clear and often tried to help him get his way. He found this highly amusing to watch. Those not gifted with the art of "persuasion" provided endless hours of entertainment. So when he set his sights on their rookie tennis star, Echizen Ryoma, most of the school population took it upon themselves to create situations where they would be alone and usually locked in a dark room. While he knew why they kept finding themselves in these perfect opportunities, the younger boy insisted that the janitor was out to get him.

The boy really did not know the first thing about love. Their first conversation started out with a topic that they both felt comfortable with; tennis. After several more hours of being locked in rooms, they eventually moved on to personal lives. Getting Echizen to talk about anything other than Ponta, Karupin, and tennis took an extreme amount of patience and conning. For the most part, he found out most of his information through bribery. Yes, to find out that their super rookie lived in a temple cost him two cans of Ponta after tennis practice that day. The process was slow, but he did not want to rush anything.

After what felt like their billionth encounter, he confessed. He expected a flat-out rejection from the rookie, but the thing about Echizen is that he always surprises you. When Ryoma said that he would go out with him, he couldn't help but give the boy a kiss on the cheek. Throughout their dating, Fuji always wondered about the day he confessed. Why did the brattiest member on their team choose to go out with him?

He found out the answer a few months after they became an official couple. He chuckled as his mind went back to the memory. He had been walking toward the clubroom to change for tennis practice when a conversation caught his attention. From what he could make of the scene, Shuuichiro, Eiji, and Sadaharu had cornered Echizen.

"Echizen, we're just concerned about you and your relationship!" he heard Oishi protest.

"I don't see the point of answering your question."

"There is an eighty-four percent chance that he doesn't want to tell us because of how they started dating happened because Syuusuke blackmailed him."

"Nya, Sadaharu, don't suggest such things. There's no way Ochibi would e blackmailed, right?"

"Ne, you guys really think that Syuusuke blackmailed me to date him?"

No reply came to that question. He could only imagine the look of mortification on Shuuichiro and Eiji's faces while Sadaharu scribbled down the valuable information.

Finally, the mother hen spoke. "A-are you saying that he did blackmail you?"

"No, that's ridiculous."

"Nya! Don't scare us like that, Ochibi!"

"Kikumaru-sempai, I-I can't breathe!"

"Ah, gomen Ochibi!"

"Echizen, you still didn't answer our question," Sadaharu said. The voice promised a lot of pain to Echizen if he didn't tell how he got together with the tensai.

"Did Syuusuke steal your cat?" Oishi asked.

"No."

"Nya, did he make Ochibi eat wasabi sushi?"

"Che, mada mada dane, sempai-tachi."

The silence stretched for a few moments.

"T-then why did you start going out with Syuusuke?" Oishi asked.

"It's simple," Ryoma stated. "Aside from my baka oyaji, he's the only one I haven't beaten in tennis."

Saa, I should have expected that.
