The word "fearless" doesn't have a lot of meaning in today's world. And I think, you and me, we both know that.

Fearless isn't about not having any fears at all. Because that's messed up. I mean, who isn't scared of something? Unless you've got that part of your brain removed or whatever.

To me, fearless is about doing what's right, even though you know it will hurt you and other people.

To me, fearless is about looking up at the person who you love the most in the world, and knowing that you can't have him because he's already married.

To me, fearless is about smiling up at him and acting normal, so that he doesn't see how much pain you're in.

To me, fearless is about trying your hardest and hardest to succeed, even though others say you'll fail.

To me, fearless is about holding that person as they stand dying, holding them while pressing your face into his shoulder so that he doesn't see your tears.

To me, fearless is about sending the person you love the most off to another world where they will live a life that is happy and not affected in any way by demons or monsters or Hollows. To me, fearless is about finding the strength to let them go.

To me, fearless is saying "I'm sorry" to the family who you've taken him away from, even if you know they'll be angry at you.

To me, fearless is about doing what's right the second time around, even when he is not himself anymore.

To me, fearless is about helping move him to another place where he can truly rest.

To me, fearless is moving on.

Because letting go is the hardest thing to do. And I think that's fearless.

The idea is not mine. The 'fearless' thing belongs to Taylor Swift. This is just molded to fit into context.
