Attempted Malec.

The first time Alec peeped into the tiny cot that held his baby sister, he was mesmerized. The tiny fingers, the miniscule toes, her mouth, twisted into a funny sort of pout as she emitted strange noises he was sure he'd never heard before. He carefully reached his hand in and touched he tiny hand. Her eyes shot open and he got ready to flee if she started screaming. But he was shocked, when instead of crying she smiled. It melted Alec's little heart and he decided for the first time he was in love.

The first time Alec laid eyes on Jace, he was mesmerized. The golden hair, the pale gold eyes, (so empty and hollow) teeth gnawing at his perfect little mouth. Alec thought he was the most gorgeous thing he'd ever set his eyes on. He accepted the nervously stuck out hand and shook it enthusiastically. It was a good two minutes before Alec figured he should probably let go now. Embarrassed, he apologized a hundred times, Jace just shrugged and quietly excused himself as he had to unpack. Watching him walk away, Alec decided, then and there, that he was in love with the younger boy.

The first time Alec saw Magnus Bane, his eyes were drawn to the bright colors in his dark hair and the sparkly glitter that really, really made his eyes (so bright and full of life) stand out against his pale skin. His words made him blush, and stumble over his own. But he seemed to be able to convince himself he was still in love with Jace. Because he was, right?

The second time Alec saw Magnus, his eyes were drawn to his flamboyant clothes and dazzling smile. Again, he ignored the butterflies dancing in his stomach. It was just something he'd eaten, obviously.

The third time, there really wasn't a whole lot of seeing, though Alec did discover that Magnus tasted strangely like cherries.

The forth time Alec saw Magnus, he decided he couldn't deny it anymore, he was in love damnit.

And the fifth, and the sixth and the, and the, iloveyouiloveyouiloveyouiloveyouiloveyou.

And soon enough, everyday for the rest of his life, Alec saw Magnus. And everyday, he just fell in love, over and over again.
