Disclaimer: *sigh* I don't own any of these characters. The beginning is a summary of what happened in the Fast Friends episode. Some quotes are the same; however the plot is my own.

Summary: This is how Disney should have ended the Fast Friend's episode.

"Hey, you tried." Chad said to me. "And you tried to make me look bad but just couldn't. You're too nice, and I'm too good at pretending to be nice."

We were standing in front of the dog houses we had just built. I was tired of Chad coming out on top. He's slime! He wears masks that make the public love him and have drooling teenage girls after him at any given time. I thought back to what had happened earlier this week in the cafeteria.

"Don't go anywhere, I may need a witness." Chad said to…well…I really don't remember her name. The quiet girl on Mackenzie Falls.

"I'm not going to yell at you." I stated. Bread continued to be thrown behind me. "Or lose my temper…" I swear they were testing me, if only they knew the real story! "I thought you were going to cover me!" I yelled at Tawny.

"Stop yelling at me!" she threw another piece and stalked away.

"Can I have that seat?" I politely (see, I have control) asked Quiet Girl. She got up and left Chad and I alone.

"Wow you are working the diva thing." Chad turned to me after I sat down.

"I'm not a diva, Chad."

"I know."

WHAT?!?

"Then tell Santiago that! I want people to know me for who I am!"

"And I want people to know me for who I'm not!" He paused then continued. "I like you. And I'm sorry the rest of the world doesn't know the real you."

It sounded sweet, like he was being sincere, but that's not enough. "It's your fault, Chad!"

He looked at me with a woo-ing stare. "Is it, Sonny? Is it really?"

Didn't work. "Yes! It is! Really!" This wasn't going anywhere.

"I thought I could do to you what you did to me." I came back from my flashback and still saw Chad right in front of me in the dog park. "But, I guess I can't play this game as well as you can." Or can I? "I have to give you props."

He smirked. "Oh, well props accepted. I mean the way I suckered you, in to letting me use your press, to make me look better," he laughed, "I was brilliant!"

Haha. Now I think I've got everything I need. "Well, you do your best work on camera." Now it was my time to smirk as I could see his smile slowly fade away…

"What do you mean?"

"You're on camera; smile into my hat." I bowed so I could get a good view of his face on film.

"…you didn't."

"…but I did!" Just seeing his face right now was worth it, too. I spoke to the camera: "Bad girl revealed to be good? Heart-throb revealed to be jerk-throb. On her way to show this to Santiago, I'm Sonny Munroe."

Chad got up from his seat on the bench to stand in front of me. Instead of looking embarrassed, mortified, or just plain mad, he actually kind of looked awe-struck. "…well played, Munroe."

I smiled and shrugged. "Props accepted."

He looked right into my eyes. "We should hang out sometime."

I stared at him in disbelief. "The camera is off, Chad."

"I know."

I looked at him. He looked at me. Just the emotion in that, I was pretty sure that he meant it. Then, when he leaned down and kissed me, I was sure of it.

He lifted his head from the embrace. "So are you still going to turn that film in?"

"…maybe."

"Not if I can get it from you first!"

He chased me around the dog park, and I escaped only when he stepped in dog-poo that I had evasively avoided. I look at him and laugh. "Oh…I'm guessing that one's from the big dog."

Chad looks at me and then down at his shoe repeatedly. I laugh and turn around, smiling at the camera still in my hand.

Maybe I'll just save this for another time.
