Was not sure if I wanted to post it today, but wanted to post it so that if I post the next chapter and there are some changes I want to make I could edit it easily.

Chapter Nineteen: Akatsuki Invades!

Konoha Field

When the pieces of papers filled the sky everyone stopped what they were doing and glanced up. Neji then had activated his Byakugan and checked the papers in the air. Naruto saw from his right that Gai-sensei went towards Neji and asked for the situation.

"It seems like an ordinary pile of papers, Gai-sensei." Naruto heard Neji's answer.

Everyone then sighs in relief while Naruto still felt uneasy. His mind told him that something bad was gonna happen. Naruto wanted to tell his friends as well as Tsunade and Jiraiya but it seems that his body had become paralyzed and his voice didn't come out when he opened his mouth.

"Naruto is there something wrong?" Naruto heard Jiraiya asked.

The others then glanced at Naruto when they heard Jiraiya asked him a question.

The blond ninja slowly calms his mind and absently puts his hand on his stomach as if protecting it from the danger that was yet to come. Naruto still looked up for a few minutes before looking at Jiraiya.

"Ero-sennin…" he said… "Something's weird."

And after Naruto said that before Jiraiya, Tsunade, Iruka and Sakura could even reach him their place and the other areas of Konoha were attack by missiles from above.

The last thing that Naruto remembered was his name being shouted by Jiraiya and Tsunade before everything was covered with smoke and the sound of missiles blasting over Konoha.

Gates of Konoha

The guards on duty were pushing the gates to close but before they could complete seal the place someone appeared in front of them and killed them using his scythe.

"Take that!" Hidan shouted at the dead bodies in front of him, "That's your punishment!" he said and laughed.

"Are you going to laugh over those useless bodies or kill more?" Kakuzu asked before running towards the smoke.

Hidan became serious and licked his lips, "Of course…" he said and dash off to follow Kakuzu, killing everyone he sees, "I'll kill everyone!" he shouted.

Forest

Sasuke was slowly sensing the ache of his muscles of his feet. They have been jumping from tree to tree and running nonstop without stopping. He knew that they had to take a rest but his mind was telling him that he has to hurry before everything's too late.

"Sasuke!" he heard Karin shout, "We have to take a rest!" she said.

"I agree with the slut Sasuke." Suigetsu said, "We need to restore our energy if we want to save your wife!" he reasoned out.

Sasuke stopped jumping and land on the ground as everyone else followed him. He sighs and told Suigetsu and the others to take a rest for an hour before they continued their journey.

As they took their rest Sasuke was leaning on the tree as he massaged his legs to ease his muscle pains. He was thinking about Naruto and his safety when his mind suddenly drifted off to Itachi. He shook off his head to erase his older brother's image and continued massaging his leg.

Konoha

Everyone was shouting, crying, running and shouting for help as they were slowly being killed by the Akatsuki members.

Konohamaru and his friends were being protected by their Ebisu-sensei when some kunais were thrown at their part. Konohamaru glanced and saw a man holding a scythe above them.

"Konohamaru-sama! Please run to a safe place!" Ebisu shouted as he stared at Hidan.

"Safe place?" Hidan sneered, "Are you blind?" he asked.

"What did you say?!" Konohamaru shouted while Moegi pulled his sleeves to stop him.

"Konoha is no longer a safe place." Hidan evilly smirked.

"Every Akatsuki members are here!" Hidan shouted and laughs out loud.

"It can't be…" Konohamaru said with a shocked look and then he became angry, "Naruto-niichan will definitely save us all!" he shouted.

"Hmm?" Hidan stared at him coolly.

"Konohamaru-sama… Please follow the others to a safe place…" Ebisu said one last time.

"Listen…" Hidan said while scratching his hair, "Lord Jashin will spare your lives if you answer my questions." He said.

"Questions?" Konohamaru stared at Hidan.

"Konohamaru let's go!" Moegi begged, "He's dangerous…" she said almost crying while Udon was also clinging to Konohamaru.

"Moegi's right, Konohamaru-kun." Udon said, "Let's go…" he begged.

"What do you want to ask?" Ebisu shouted. He was really worried about Konohamaru's well being and his friends but he couldn't look away from Hidan for he knows that one wrong move will be the death of them all.

"Where's the Kyuubi holder?" Hidan asked seriously.

Ebisu looked alarmed so suddenly which was caught by Hidan. The Akatsuki guy smirks and jumped down the post and land in front of Ebisu.

"You know where he is…" Hidan stated and before Ebisu could move he was already wounded by Hidan's scythe.

"Ebisu-sensei!" Konohamaru and his friends shouted.

Ebisu gasped and grabbed his injured leg and looks at Konohamaru, "Konohamaru-sama! Please! Escape now while I can still fight him!" he shouted as well as begged Konohamaru.

Konohamaru was looking at Ebisu shockingly and was shaking. He was scared and he knew he couldn't do anything.

"Konohamaru!" Moegi shouted while hugging his arm.

"Konohamaru-kun!" Udon cried on his left.

"Konohamaru-sama!" Ebisu shouted again.

Hidan looked bored and before Konohamaru could act Ebisu was kicked real hard on the gut and was thrown towards a destroyed wall.

"I'm afraid I didn't explain myself well…" Hidan said and scratched his hair again, "I said that I'll spare your lives if you tell me where the Kyuubi holder was." He said.

"But if you don't…" Hidan then turns his attention towards Konohamaru and his friends, "I'll gladly enjoy my time killing you one by one." He said and slowly stepped forward towards the kids.

Konohamaru and his friends were shaking in fear and Hidan was enjoying the scared look of Konohamaru and his friends but before he could reach either of the kids he was caught off guard when he was suddenly kicked away from Konohamaru and his friends.

"I won't let you lay a finger on Konohamaru-sama even if it risks my life!" Ebisu was standing with a serious face.

Everyone was slightly injured when the smoke vanished from the place. Sakura was healing Lee while Hinata was healing Tenten. Ino was helping Kurenai and Chouji stand up as well as healing them also. While Shikamaru was analyzing what was going on. Neji on the other hand had activated his Byakugan and was searching for some enemies on the area.

Naruto was coughing and was having a panic attacked while Jiraiya and Tsunade were calming him down.

"It's okay Naruto…" Tsunade whispered, "Your child is fine." She said and smiled.

Naruto sighs and then looks at Jiraiya worriedly, "They're already here, aren't they?" he asked.

Before Jiraiya could answer Naruto's question another blast occurred near the area and again smoke covered the place. Jiraiya and Tsunade were on the sides of Naruto protecting him from any danger to come.

"Naruto… no matter what happens don't leave our side." Jiraiya said seriously.

Naruto nods and felt Tsunade's healing jutsu on her stomach. He looks at his baachan curiously and received a smile.

"Don't worry Naruto…" Tsunade said, "I'm just healing your pain… You're muscles seems to stress out when you had you're panic attack." (A/N: I never even got pregnant so I don't know anything about how a woman feels when she's pregnant… (Sigh) I'm just improvising here.)

When the smoke slowly clears out Tsunade glanced at Jiraiya wondering why the man was quiet. She followed his gaze and saw a woman standing 20 feet away from them.

"It's been a while…" the woman said, "Jiraiya-sensei… Tsunade-sama…" she bowed and looks up to them with an expressionless face.

Jiraiya was totally stunned! There was no way that the woman in front of them was someone he knew from the past.

Tsunade was trying to figure out who the woman was and how she knew their names. She then saw some of the papers sticking on the woman's cloak which proves that she was an Akatsuki member.

"Who are you?!" Tsunade shouted and glared at the woman.

The smoke was now gone and every ninja's at the place were surrounding the woman.

But Konan didn't even seem worried at all instead she counted the ninja's in front of her.

"Are you sure that all of you will fight me?" Konan asked and then looks back at Jiraiya and Tsunade.

Tsunade had then realized what she was saying, "Kakashi! Gai! Kurenai! Azuma!" she called for the jounin teachers.

"Go and help the other shinobis…" Tsunade said as she sweats, "Konoha is…" she gulps and glanced at the frightened Naruto.

"Under attack…" Tsunade said which shocked everyone.

Immediately Kakashi and the others left the field while Iruka ran towards the Academy followed by Ten-ten and Hinata.

"Sakura! Ino!" Tsunade shouted, "You girls better help the villagers who were injured." She said.

Sakura glanced worriedly at Naruto and then seriously looked at Ino. Ino saw the determination in Sakura's eyes and nods her head and they started running towards the village.

They knew that they need to protect Naruto but they knew that Naruto wouldn't want them to ignore the others who need their help.

"Chouji and I will go to the west gate and help the others." Shikamaru said and then vanished together with Chouji.

Tsunade nods and then saw Neji and Lee vanish also. So that means that Kiba and Shino were the only ones left to help them fight the girl.

"I'm impressed that the shinobi's in Konoha have been trained well." Konan said and then glanced up the sky.

Jiraiya then finally realized who the girl was when he saw the flower on the side of the girl's hair. He was shocked when he realized that the girl in front of them was still alive.

"It took you a while to know who I am, Jiraiya-sensei." Konan said and then just like how the blast surprised them. They were surprised when something came out of the ground and grabbed Jiraiya's throat.

"Jiraiya!"

"Ero-sennin!"

Both Tsunade and Naruto shouted while Kiba and Shino attacked Konan. Tsunade then shielded Naruto when she felt another presence coming towards Naruto with an evil attempt.

(Bear with me guys… (Sob) I'm typing this chapter with Sasuke Neko sitting on my lap which is annoying since I can't concentrate well… (Sighs))

"Tsunade-baachan!" Naruto kneeled beside Tsunade when something pierced right through her wrist when she tried to protect Naruto.

"I'm okay…" Tsunade hissed in pain and glanced at Jiraiya who was lying on the ground because of the man holding his throat still.

Naruto glanced around while assisting Tsunade to stand and was surprised when Shino and Kiba were easily caught by the girl's papers.

Then out of nowhere another man fell down from the sky. When the man landed on the field the girl went beside him while still carrying Shino and Kiba while the man holding Jiraiya's throat released the sannin and jumped beside the man.

"It flatters me that you still know us, Jiraiya-sensei." The newcomer said and glanced at Naruto.

"Is he the Kyuubi holder?" the man asked and Konan nods as her reply.

"I didn't know that you two were still alive!" Jiraiya pants while holding his throat. Tsunade and Naruto came to his aid when he stumbles.

"Ero-sennin…" Naruto whispered and glanced back at the man and the other two, "They are part of the Akatsuki… how come they know you and you know them?" he asked.

Tsunade looks at Jiraiya curiously also while healing his throat, "That's right Jiraiya…" she said, "How come you know them?"

Jiraiya glanced at Tsunade and shook his head, "Remember the time when he fought in the second war?" he asked and Tsunade nods.

"The girl and the man beside her were my students." He said.

"The children you've trained?" she asked and glanced back, "But there should be one more."

"Enough talk…" the man said and before Naruto could react he was already caught by two more people from Akatsuki.

"Naruto!"

Tsunade and Jiraiya shouted when Naruto was suddenly dragged towards the man in front of them.

Other Dimension

After the blast, the girl tried to look at the place while the smoke slowly disappears. The girl with shattered clothes started running inside her room. She didn't know who attacked the place and she may die with the hands of their enemies but she wouldn't allow them to destroy every bond that they've created with the mortals from their mission. Especially the special ones. What she saw in her room was a man in a hood, holding the red thread that she had successfully saved from her first mission, to make it short, it was Sasuke and Naruto's bond.

"It's wonderful, isn't it?" the girl flinched when the man began to speak.

"Why are you doing this?!" she shouted, "Who are you?!" she asked.

"Who am I?" the man calmly glanced at the girl and seriously looked at her.

The girl could only look at the man with a sad expression. She didn't know why the man would do this kind of stuff. There was something about the man that was really familiar to her.

"It's because this bond you saved was never meant to be saved." He said which shocked the girl.

"What do you mean?" the girl stepped back afraid of what the man might do to her.

The man smiled even though the girl could only see his lower face, then stepped towards her while holding the thread. She felt a chill run down her body when she saw the man smiled differently.

"This thread is not like the other threads, right?" he asked but didn't received any answers.

The girl became nervous then.

"Shall we take a look at what's happening with the owners of this thread?" the man asked and beside him a mirror the same size as the girl's appeared.

The girl then was surprised when she saw Naruto writhing in pain and before she could react, the images vanished and the next thing she saw was Sasuke who had a guilty look on his face.

"This bond you saved… I'll completely destroy it." she heard the man said. He said and then pulled the thread with his two fingers.

Bbefore the girl could even react the man had already cut the thread in half and another explosion erupted causing for the girl and the man to vanish with the blast.

(A/N: Again let me tell you that the time in this dimension and the time in Naruto's world are the same…)

Konoha West Gate

Shikamaru and Chouji couldn't utter a single word when they arrived at the place. Almost every wall and the ground were covered with blood and dead bodies of the villagers.

No one survived.

A sinister laugh brought Shikamaru and Chouji from their reverie. They looked around and saw one Akatsuki member sitting on a pile of dead shinobi bodies and looking at them.

"You guys are slow." Hidan said with a smirk.

Shikamaru and Chouji froze when they felt danger behind their backs.

"This is the end."

Shikamaru and Chouji heard the man behind them say and the next thing they knew they were kicked in the gut resulting for them to fell on the ground with such force.

Konoha East Gate

Neji was fighting a guy named Deidara while Lee backs him up. Neji had never met a guy like Deidara who always shouts 'Art' which really annoys Neji and to add to their enemy's advantage, Deidara could use his 'Art' to float in the air.

"It'll be difficult to defeat him when he's up in the air." Lee said.

Neji smirks, "Since when did that stop you?" he glanced at Lee and saw him smiling.

"It's not that…" Lee fisted his hands and started shaking while Neji could only shook his head.

"I'm burning up!" Lee shouted, "I'll definitely defeat you!" Lee points at Deidara.

"Un…" Deidara smirks and then threw some of his 'Art' below, "Then why don't you start before I kill you two?" he said and his 'Art' exploded half way making Lee and Neji get pushed by the blast's explosion.

Around Konoha

Tobi, one of the Akatsuki members was sitting on one of the roofs while watching Zetsu, another member of Akatsuki with a double face, fight with Kurenai and Azuma.

"Go! Zetsu-senpai!" Tobi cheered at Zetsu which made Kurenai and Azuma looks at his place.

"That guy is weird." Kurenai said.

Azuma nods but didn't took his eyes off of Zetsu, "I know…" he said, "Don't let your guard down Kurenai."

Kurenai smiled which Zetsu noticed. He then vanished from Azuma and Kurenai's sight.

"Where is he?!" Kurenai and Azuma look at their backs and tried to search for Zetsu's chakra.

Then suddenly Kurenai was held hostage by Zetsu. Azuma was about to charge when Zetsu began to talk.

"You two are in love with each other…" Zetsu said.

"I don't care just kill them now!" Another voice said.

Azuma was sweating while Kurenai was trying to get out of Zetsu's grasp. Zetsu glanced at Kurenai and told her that it was futile to escape him and then looks back at Azuma.

"Those feelings of yours will be your downfall." Zetsu said and raised his hand to kill Kurenai.

Streets of Konoha

Itachi and Kisame were running towards the Hokage tower when they suddenly halt and jump out of the streets before they were caught by Kakashi's chidori.

"It really amazed me that you can still surprise me, Kakashi-san." Itachi said in a calm voice while looking down at Kakashi and Gai who were now standing here Itachi and Kisame were standing before.

"Itachi." Kakashi said.

"I heard from Deidara that you have evolve, Kakashi-san." Itachi said and then jumped down the roof he was standing, "It seems like you are beginning to understand how Sharingan works." He said and watched the Sharingan in Kakashi's left eye.

"Shall I try my new Sharingan on you then?" Kakashi said in a serious tone.

"Are you willing to take a risk using a Sharingan like that towards me from the Uchiha clan?" Itachi asked. "You'll lose Kakashi-san." He said.

"We won't know unless we try!" Kakashi said and rushed towards Itachi.

Konoha Field

Naruto was struggling to escape Pein's grasp while Tsunade and Jiraiya were fighting Konan and the other Akatsuki member.

A long orange haired man, also an Akatsuki member, appeared beside Pein and told Pein that everyone was doing their job well.

"You won't succeed!" Naruto said, "I will definitely crush you before you take Kyuubi out of me."

"How do you know that?" Pein asked, "You who still couldn't see reality." He said.

Naruto stared at Pein's eyes and saw no emotions at all.

"What are you talking about?" Naruto was now afraid of what Pein might say. He glanced at Tsunade and Jiraiya fighting.

"You know what I mean…" Pein said.

Naruto felt his body shake. He knew what Pein was talking about but he didn't want to remember that night. That night where he knew everything was…

Kit!

Naruto was startled and was now looking at Kyuubi. He looks around and saw that he was inside Kyuubi's cage.

"Kyuubi…" Naruto whispered and looked at Kyuubi with a scared look.

Don't let him control you with what he says!

"But…"

Naruto!

"You know also that he's saying the truth!" Naruto shouted.

Kit…

"Kyuubi… You know he is referring to that night…" Naruto whispered sadly.

When Naruto looks up again he saw that he was back in his world and was looking at Pein's eyes.

"And this will be the time where you'll see what reality really is…" Pein said and vanished together with Naruto.

"Naruto!" Tsunade destroyed the ground making Konan and the man retreat from Tsunade and Jiraiya.

Konan and the man beside her smirked and vanished together with the long haired man.

"This is bad." Jiraiya whispered.

Tsunade bit her lower lip, "We have to find Naruto…"

"I agree…" Jiraiya said.

And once again before they could even start their search they turned their backs and saw a white light surround Konoha.

Forest

Sasuke and his team were now near Konoha when they stopped on their tracks when they noticed a light coming out of the forest.

Karin felt something and turned to Sasuke, "Sasuke-kun!"

Sasuke turned and looks at her and saw her worried expression.

"A large amount of chakra came from that light." She said.

Juugo then saw a bird flying towards him and reach out for it. Sasuke was looking calmly at him while Suigetsu was jumping up the trees to get a better look at the light.

Juugo and Suigetsu then were shock.

Juugo glanced at Sasuke and was about to say something when Suigetsu jumped down on their place and shouted.

"Everyone grab on the trees!" he shouted and before they could follow what Suigetsu said a force came towards them knocking them towards the ground below with most of the trees being destroyed by the force.

After the force disappeared resulting for Sasuke and his team feeling pain in every parts of their body Sasuke turned towards Juugo and asked him what he was about to say.

Juugo gulps and looks at Sasuke, "Konoha no longer exist…" he said which shocked Sasuke and Suigetsu as well as Karin.

"What do you mean by that, Juugo?" Suigetsu asked.

"Apparently a member of the Akatsuki used some kind of Jutsu and destroyed the whole place of Konoha." Juugo said.

"That means that the light we saw was-" Karin stopped was she was about to say when Juugo nods at her.

"That was the Jutsu that destroyed Konoha." Juugo finished and glanced at Sasuke.

Sasuke abruptly turns and started running which made his team follow him silently.
