Kate's Blessing

Summary: While cleaning out her desk Ziva find a letter addressed to Tony. Set around mid-6 I guess. Tiva at the end. Enjoy! :D

Ziva was cleaning out her desk for the first time since she had been working at NCIS, seeing as she had gotten into the job so quickly she never really had any time to organize and generally get things in order. She opened the top drawer of her desk and pulled out the pen tray. Tony. Was written on a yellowing envelope in cursive handwriting. She picked it up, and examined it. "Tony, there is a er letter here for you."
"From who Ziva?"
"I do not know, there is no address or name on it, here." She handed the letter over an watched him as he pulled the sheet of paper from inside it and read.

Tony,

If you're reading this I'm either dead or fired (which in Gibbs' eyes is that same). I just wanted you to know that you were a great partner and friend and I wouldn't have wanted anyone else to have my back. If you're sad, don't be! A new agent will come in to help you make fun of McGee and to piss of Gibbs, you'll be fine. Trust me, after a while you'll forget about me and you'll have moved on from whatever the hell it was we had and one day you'll realize that there is someone out there for you and you'll stop using surrogates like the hundreds of women you've gone through since I've known you. Trust me Tony, one day you'll find someone that you'll want to be with forever and they will want to be with you. I know that you have it in you to give up the one-night stands and have a real relationship with someone and when that day comes know that I'll be looking down smiling (because I'm not planning on getting fired anytime soon.). Just make sure, whoever she is, you tell her before you end up here with me, or if she's from work, before she's up here with me. Please promise me that you'll do that for me Tony, because under that cocky exterior I know you and I know how sweet you are and how much you care about your friends.
And Tony, if I see you up here anytime soon I'll kick your ass for leaving Abby, Gibbs and McGee.
