Flash! Lightning lights the skies,

A city burned to the ground.

Thunder rumbles in the distance,

Like a giant's footstep sound.

A dark shape hovers in the air,

A monster's shadow over the land.

The fate of millions shall reside,

In this living terror's mighty hands.

A giant blackness plows

Through the earth, destruction in its wake,

Flames arise, the wind bellows,

The ground trembles, cracks, and quakes.

The science of man is powerless

Against this living storm's wrath,

It is a towering mass of power,

Destroying all that's in its path.

Surveying the scene of carnage,

Just destruction in its sight.

The storm stops to roar once more,

Before vanishing into the night.
