"Severus, I'm very disappointed in you!" Dumbledore said sternly.
"What now?" Snape asked irritably. "You instructed me to pick up the young Harry Potter from his Muggle family, buy him all his school supplies, and bring him to Hogwarts."
"Yes, and..."
"Well, what more do you want? I picked him up, I bought him everything he'll need for the year, and I dropped him off at school. I bought him chocolate frogs and some ridiculous toys he wanted. Then, I bought him lunch. I didn't even start a fight with him, like you feared I would. Please, enlighten me, what's the problem?"
"Severus," Dumbledore spoke with clearly forced calm. "You picked up the wrong child."
Snape's face twitched slightly. "I beg your pardon?"
"Harry Potter lives in Surrey. You picked up a child from 4 Privet Drive in Manchester."
"Oh. I must say, I wondered why we got on so well."
"Now, I have to fix your mistake. The poor Muggle child will have to go home disappointed," Dumbledore said mournfully. "And we still have to pick up Harry Potter..."
Snape shrugged. "Why? Does it really matter that much? Why don't we just keep the one we've got now?"
Dumbledore threw his hands up in the air.
"Never mind, Severus. I was mistaken to assign this task to you. This time, I'm sending Hagrid."
