Snape and the Dark Angel
It was midnight. No one was around and silence echoed through the castle's corridors. Severus Snape stood alone with a red rose in his hand. He was waiting, but for who?
Clouds suddenly covered the crescent moon and lightning flashed in the distance, covering Severus in a silver light. After a surprisingly bright flash of lightning, a shadow flowed in a circular path around Severus. After a moment, the long shadow became taller and wider and became a woman with black wings and a long, flowing gown. She then bowed to Severus, lifting her wings so that they did not touch the ground.
"I am here for you," she sang, the pleasant notes rising for above a clap of thunder that rolled through the grounds. The angel then stood and ran around Severus, her gown wrapping at his feet.
"And I for you," he whispered. She then took his hands and unraveled her gown magically. She then lifted him into the sky as a light yet steady mist began to fall.
"We shall overcome our pain!" she sang loudly, shattering a window with her pitch. Severus was transfixed and let her fly him to the top tower. He stood as she walked around him, magically creating petals from a black rose and flying them in a vortex around Severus. "You wildest dreams will become reality…in the lust of the pouring rain!" she sang. The vortex fell and a strange silence fell over the campus. The angel strutted to his side and caressed his face. "And love will come to find you," she whispered, kissing him passionately. Lightning, thunder, and rain climaxed and the world's power was released around them.
After a moment, the rain's veil was lifted and the storm clouds moved away. The crescent moon's light shrouded Severus, but now he was alone. The rose he was holding before had been replaced with a black one, and the petals the angel created remained in a circle around him.
In the distance, a shape was flying from the castle. As it flew away, a single lyric flowed through the night air and into Severus's ear. "And now you will never be alone…."
