'Ichigo 'Senna thought as he carried her through the graveyard. My brave, strong Ichigo.' She was fading quickly and she knew it, she tried to hold on to stay with him just a little longer. She knew as soon as she slipped, as soon as she let go off this world she would become nothing once more, not even her beloved Ichigo would remember her.
She hid her face in his hair, trying to stay with him. She didn't want to leave him, but she knew that it was either her or him and the whole world. She never imagined that anyone could care for a nobody like he cared for her. He treated her like a real person, not just a shell of gathered memories from who knows how many souls.
She remembered how he bought her that beautiful red ribbon, the one that is now gone. She hoped that whoever found it would take care of it. She remembered how he bought her food, and rescued her countless times. She smiled weakly as Ichigo stopped walking.
Senna opened her eyes but everything was blurred, colors blurring and mixing together. She could barely make out any shapes; she rested her head back on Ichigo's shoulder.
"Do you see it?" she asked him. She had to be a real person at some point, she knew it. Ichigo nodded but didn't reply. "My vision is blurred, is it truly there?"
"Yes." He replied "Plain as day." She smiled; a warm feeling started in her chest then moved throughout her body.
"I'm so happy." She replied. "I feel warm." She paused gathering more strength; she didn't want to leave just yet. She fought for every breath.
"Do you think we will ever see each other again?" She asked. Her hair blowing into her face in the wind.
"Of course we will, I promise." He replied. She smiled; Ichigo always knew how to make her feel better. And hearing his promise, even if it might not be true, made this leaving that much easier.
"Goodbye Ichigo." She mumbled as she started to fade, Ichigo didn't reply just watched her grave. When she was gone he slumped, wishing he could keep his memories of the girl named Senna.
A few months went by, Ichigo went for a walk. He had long forgotten of the girl who cared so much for him. He was slowly walking across the bridge, every once and a while looking out at the sea. It was so peaceful and beautiful. There was a small breeze, blowing leaves through the air. Something about the leaves made him smile, he didn't know why. He looked up into the sky and noticed a red ribbon floating through the air. He caught it, something long forgotten making him happy.
Looking around to find the owner of the ribbon, he noticed no one ready to claim it. A purple haired girl that looked so familiar ran by followed by her friends. Everything about her made Ichigo want to stop and talk to her like they were old friends.
Her voice, hair, smile, eyes he would have sworn he knew her but he couldn't figure out from where. He shook his head, thinking nothing more about the girl. Still smiling he released the ribbon back to the wind.
