How to Make Your Teacher Mad

Hi. I'm Kate, the best kid in school. All the teachers love me, but recently I played a game of truth or dare (Who knew it could tern out to ruin my reputation!) and now I'm the worst kid in school! Well, this is what happened:

Well, it was the first day of term 3, semester 2, and everyone new that I would tern up all bright and happy with a present for my teacher, Mrs Soumer. (She's my favouriteteacher!)

When I got to school, early as usual, everyone who was there, was playing on the grass outside of my class. Then I realized that everyone in my grade was there. Not one person missing! It was like they had all planed to get there early!

As I put my bag in my locker, Sandy, (a girl in my class) had come up to me and had said:

"Would you like to play Truth or Dare Kate?"

"OK" I had answered and I followed her to the grass area where everyone had suddenly gathered together.

"Who's going first?" I had asked.

"Rosanna" Sandy had replied,

"She bagsed it"

"Truth or Dare?" Rosanna had asked Maya.

"Truth" Maya had answered nervously.

"Um, OK, have you ever kissed a boy?"

"Um, yes" Maya had said quietly.

"Oooooh" everyone had said, trying to make her embarrassed. Maya blushed.

"Who?" Rosanna had insisted.

"Jeremy" Maya had said even quieter than before. I whistled.

Maya blushed even more.

"Maya's turn" Rosanna had shouted.

"Truth or Dare?" Maya asked me thoughtfully.

"Dare" I had said. (I liked to have a bit of fun every once and a while.)

"Ooooooh" everyone had said at the same time. It was like they had rehearsed to say it! Then, Rosanna, quietly, winked at Maya.

I had only just seen it out of the corner of one eye, so I wasn't really sure I had seen it, but, I had found out later, that she certainly had meant it, and that everyone sitting there knew what it meant!

"OK…" Maya had said, pursing to think,

"I dare you to spend the whole term, um, being on your worst behaviour in class!" Maya had said.

"What!" I had shouted,

"You can't say that! I'll get expelled!"

"A dare is a dare, and you know what happens if you don't attempt, or complete in this matter, the dare!" Maya had said competitively.

"OK." I had said with a sigh. Then, everyone had cheered and yelled.

You see, at the start of the year, all the year 8s had made a deal for playing truth or dare. That deal was, was that if you don't except the dare, attempt it or complete it, (the darer gets to chose), you could never play truth of dare until exactly a year had passed, and you see, I had, and still do, love to play truth or dare. I didn't think I could last, even a weak, without playing truth or dare, so I had said yes.

'Oh no!' I had thought as the bell had rung. Everyone was piling into their classes and they would be being on their best behaviour. You see, that's what made it even worse, that I was the only child, probably in the whole school, that was on their worst behaviour! 'no' I had thought, 'I'm not going to do it!' 'oh but I have to!' I had sighed.
