Hey! I haven't uploaded anything in ages and I found this floating around obnoxiously. I originally had this huge plot planned out for it and everything but forgot about it. I'll upload the next chapter if enough people are interested. Don't worry; it's longer than this puny thing. I just like having little introductions to my stories (it's a quirk). So if you like, please send me a comment! :)

Before I know it, an oxygen mask is dangling in front of my face.
I vaguely recall that Turk is next in the seat next to me. He's yelling something but all I see is his mouth moving. I don't hear anything. Everything is silent as chaos rampages all around me. Out of habit, I make a quick diagnosis that my eardrums have popped.
The cabin lights have started to flicker on and off and through the brief intervals of brightness, I see the terrified faces of everyone else; my friends, co-workers. People I've known for years. They're all screaming.
A raw burning sensation at the base of my throat lets me know that I'm screaming too.
My hand shoots out on its own to grab the mask and clutch it to my face.
Breathe in, breathe out.
I can't help but notice the stewardess's body lying in the aisle a few feet away from where I'm sitting. She landed there about fifteen seconds ago and hasn't moved since.
The plane plummets forward and my seatbelt is the only thing stopping me from being sent flying over the seat in front of me. This isn't how I'm supposed to die. I have my whole life ahead of me. The lights are out completely now.
Or maybe I'm already dead.
This is the last thought that passes through my head before I lose consciousness.
