I made him another valentine this year. It's almost torturous the way I continue to love such a man. Yes, a man, no mere boy can win my affections. Though Ronald has tried many times I always avoid his advances. Harry doesn't even bother; he's so wrapped up in Ginny. I'm glad he finally found someone to love. Speaking of love, I made him another valentine. This is the third year I've made him one and never delivered it. I reached into my pocket to pull it out and wonder what it would be like if he accepted my prompt: Be mine. I stopped and reached into the other pocket, searched my bag and books, and even checked my quill case. Where was the valentine? When had I last seen it? As I was kneeling in the hallway searching a dark shadow appeared from behind me. I slowly turned and looked at the man I had loved since fourth year. His eyebrow rose as my eyes rested on the pink heart he was holding out to me. It was my pink heart, my valentine. I reached for it and felt my heart speed up. At the last second he grabbed my hand and pulled me up, I blushed and was stupid enough to look at his face.
"Why, Miss Granger, I never knew," he said with a look of indifference.
"Professor, I," before I knew it he had pulled me to him in a kiss not even close to my dreams. The valentine fluttered to the floor.

To: Professor Snape
Be Mine!
From: Hermione Granger

I felt like writing and thought that since Valentine's Day was coming up I'd write a quick little story. Hope you enjoyed it and Happy Valentine's day (early)!
