American Dragon: Jake Long, Jake Long, Rose/Huntsgirl, Huntsclan, Huntsman and the plot of "The Hunted" belongs to Jeff Goode and Disney. I only own the title "Issue with You" and the poem itself.
Guess you weren't expecting a third poem about Jake and Rose, huh? This is inspired from the song, "Issues" by The Saturdays and the poem takes place in the episode "The Hunted" where Jake has mixed feelings about Rose whether to kiss her or incinerate her with a fireball like he said when he was having a conversation with Trixie and Spud. Anyhoo, this is written in Jake Long's point of view.
Issue with You
I couldn't choose,
You in tight with the Huntsclan is bad news,
My heart and I got issues,
Ever since finding out your secret, it got me in the blues,
Realizing that you were Huntsgirl,
That fact makes me wanna hurl,
I don't know what to do,
I kept thinking of you,
Either kissing you at all,
Or burn you with a fireball,
I couldn't bear the fact that you're my enemy,
Guess that's how it has to be,
Love is complicated,
Fighting against you is what I hated,
You're might be forever with the Huntsclan,
You had to obey the Huntsman,
We're fated to be in love,
Deciding between romance and duties is tough,
Our love for each other is forbidden,
My feelings for you is quite hidden,
I'm lost in confusion,
All the nice things about you became an illusion,
I adored you from the start,
However my heart felt like it's falling apart,
I can't deny that you're my foe,
Behind that mask is the Rose I know.
I might do a sequel to this but it will be in Rose's point of view just like my second Jake x Rose poem. Again, it will take place in "The Hunted". The song was a nice one but it's pretty sad at the same time, however it isn't very depressing like Sugababes's "Sound of Goodbye". I've already noticed that my country has a lot of girl groups such as Girls Aloud, Sugababes, Atomic Kitten, Spice Girls, All Saints, Booty Luv, Sweet XX, Sirens and now The Saturdays. Seems like my nation is all about girl power and cheesiness (e.g. the corny title of the latest Animal Crossing game – Animal Crossing: Let's Go To The City), I don't know about the other countries though.
I've been listening to the song ever since I've first heard it from the music video; it's nice but melancholy at the same time. I kinda get the meaning that could be that someone left you but you still love that person and you're confused with your feelings for your lover. It's a little similar to when Jake found out the true identity of Huntsgirl. I only have a few heartbreaking songs on my MP3 player. Every time I hear "Issues", it almost made me start crying.
Now that this poem is outta the way, I can focus on completing the next songfic that takes place in LazloTitan's "Darkness and Light" and the poster of the Peach Hit Five, Princess Peach's pop group that consist of five members who were herself, Toadsworth and three Toads. If you don't know about the band, they were formed in the Nintendo DS game, Super Princess Peach. I've got a teeny bit of inspiration from the pop group to come up with the Marioverse Maidens, my Mario parody of one of Britain's finest girl bands, Girls Aloud. So, send in kind reviews and comments to me please.
