FASH: Okay, this is a weird idea I had, because Panther/Sena is too fun and a language barrier just means that more interesting methods of communication must be used! And I'm just saying this happens after the series ends, whenever that may be.

Disclaimer: What do you know, I still don't own it.

Sena had never been anything other than average when it came to most of his academic endeavours, and English just happened to be one of his worst subjects. Of course when he started dating a certain Patrick Spencer he'd tried to rectify that, but there was only so much he could learn in his free time when there were practices to go to and games to win.

Panther had learned some Japanese via Watt and the internet, but sometimes his pronunciation was way off, or his sentences wouldn't makes sense, or Watt had given him the wrong information and translation.

It wasn't that much of a bother, they at least knew enough to get by, and when they couldn't figure out what the other was saying they relied on body language and facial expressions. This was all fine and dandy of course, but Sena really would have preferred to communicate in a more romantic way.

Which was why he was currently standing at the edge of the room where the World Cup's 'after party' was taking place with a fan in one hand, and a printed out English copy of the language of the fan in the other.

If any of his team mates asked him how he even knew the language of the fan he'd promptly reply: "Not including Riku, my only friend until high school was a girl, why wouldn't I know it?"

Besides, he rather liked the idea of communicating through this medium, even if it was a very feminine one.

Now he just had to wait for Panther to make his way over here so Sena could give him the sheet and begin.

It didn't take long for his boyfriend to meander over to him, giving the fan Sena was holding a curious look.

"Sena, what's that for?" He asked and Sena handed the paper he'd been holding to him.

Panther glanced at the sheet, eyebrows furrowing slightly.

Sena carefully touched his finger to the tip of the fan.

I want to speak with you.

Panther quickly skimmed over his handout.

Okay, so this would admittedly be way more romantic if Panther already knew the language of the fan, but they had to start somewhere. He could memorize it all later.

"You want to talk? About what?"

Sena carefully looked around and caught sight of several pairs of curious eyes looking their way. So he twirled the fan in his left hand.

We are being watched.

He then switched hands and held the fan in front of his face.

Follow me.

Panther quickly read over the meanings corresponding with Sena's actions and nodded.

The brunette smiled and turned to go to a more secluded area, Panther following behind him inquisitively.

Once Sena figured they were far enough from prying eyes he turned back around, fighting down the blush that was trying to make itself known as he presented the shut fan to Panther.

Do you love me?

"Of course I do." Panther responded after a slight delay, a rosy colour appearing on his cheeks.

Sena drew the fan across his own cheek.

"I love you, too."

Panther looked a bit startled at the sound of Sena's voice before his mind registered the words and his blush darkened.

Sena smiled and put the handle of the fan to his lips.

"Kiss me, Patrick."

Panther quickly complied.
