"It isn't what I would have done!" Nathan shouted.

Peter looked at him in shocked eyes. "You're my brother and I love you," he said.

Nathan said nothing.

Peter looked one last time into his brother's eyes before he flew away.

Nathan watched as Peter flew away and he was left alone in that field by himself. Not much different than when he left Peter in Haiti all alone.

But he could fly, and so now could Peter.

Yet, instead, he decided to walk a little bit, until he saw his reflection in a storefront window.

"Oh Nathan Petrelli," he said admiring his reflection. "I think I can get used to looking like you. The Peter Petrelli from four years from now thought, coming back in time would solve everything. Did he not ever realize that if he had the power to go into someone's body, others could as well?"

"This time line's Peter Petrelli still has hope," he continued amused. "That might be a problem."

The man inside Nathan Petrelli grinned.

"And as long as he thinks I am his brother," he snarled.

"Misguided love will be on my side."

Author's Note: I might take this story into an longer story if inspiration comes. I'm not a happy fan girl. LOL
