A: N- Once again a very short drabble, but I love it. It just popped into my head and I just had to write it. So what do you think? Any prompts feel free to message me with them. :)

WARNING: SLASH.

This was the moment that had been dreaded for the past thousand years or so. It couldn't be stopped, no matter how much they wanted it to it couldn't be stopped. They had no control over the situation. In the end, one always had to be pitted against one another in order for the family to find peace. They never expected this though, they never expected there to be so much hurt. They could not avoid it; the fight had to be fought.

That is why he stayed away. That is why he disappeared for moments on end, refusing to lay his eyes on his family. He could not pretend that he liked it; he could not pretend that everything was okay. No matter how much he wanted to, he could not. He loved them like nothing else, but it was all too much. He could not leave the house without feeling like he betrayed them all.

When he saw the young man he could not do anything but stare. He was so beautiful, even if his eyes were rounded with red, and the innocence gone. It was hard not to rush over to the child and hold him in his arms at first look. He knew who he was, and he knew why he should get close to him, but he could not stop himself, he was just too much of her.

They should not have done it, they should not have gotten together, and they definitely should not have fallen in love. It could not be stopped. And as the family turned their backs to their savior, they lost a precious part of their family. They lost an irreplaceable part of their lives. Their destiny changed. As the family slowly crumpled, the other pulsated.

Destiny spared them; Destiny led them to a place of their own. They were finally redeemed.
