"RJ, I'm going to visit Mom this afternoon, and I was wondering if you, Fran, and the other Rangers would like to come."

"Well, it's Sunday, so JKP is closed for the day. I'll ask them and call you back."

"All right."

RJ helped his father load the last plank of wood into the back of the pickup truck and went back to JKP.

Fran and the Rangers eagerly agreed to go, and they picked up Master Finn in the JKP van a little after noon.

"Remember the way there, RJ?"

"Yep."

They drove out into the country and reached the home of Megan James.

Megan was in her garden when the van pulled up. She was a little confused as to why a pizza van would come into her driveway.

The gang got out, and Master Finn and RJ were across the yard and to the garden in about five seconds.

"Well, landsakes! Six years later you come to see me."

"Sorry. We've been really busy," father and son chorused.

Megan smiled, her brown eyes, which Master Finn had inheritated, twinkling.

"Well you're here."

She went over and hugged the two Pai Zhuq Masters, who hugged her back.

"You boys have working out haven't you?" she asked, pulling back some.

"Sort of."

Megan knew nothing of Pai Zhuq or the Rangers.

Casey, Lily, Theo, Fran, and Domonic were introduced, and they all went inside for lemonade.

Master Finn and RJ were helping make the lemonade.

"I remember when you used to help me when you just a boy, David."

"If I recall correctly I did more damage than helping."

Fran and the Rangers, inculding RJ, laughed at that.

Megan smiled and stuck a slice of lemon in the Shark Master's mouth.

He took hold of the peel and bit off the fruit.

"Ooh!" he said as the sour taste.

"Sour, Master Finn?" Casey asked teasingly.

Megan looked at her son.

"Master Finn?"

Master Finn smacked his lips once to get the lemon juice off them before answering.

"It's a nickname some friends gave me a long time ago."

He smacked his lips again to get the last bit of lemon juice off them.

"Note to self; don't eat anything my mother sticks in my mouth," he said, teasing his mother.

"What if it's something sweet?"

To prove her point, she took a chocolate chip cookie from the tray she had put on the table and stuck part of it in her son's mouth.

He took hold of the cookie, bit off the part that was in his mouth, chewed and swallowed, and answered.

"Then I'll eat it."

Megan chuckled and gave Master Finn a playful shove.

"You have your father's sense of humor."

Her son gave her a lopsided grin.

"You got that right," he said.
