WOOOOooooooo...

CHOOCHOO!

CHUGGACHUGGACHUGGACHUGGA..."

Don, Leo and Raph watched unbelievably, as Michelangelo finished his marathon of back flips around the living room.

He staggered a few steps before retaining his balance and spreading his arms wide.

"I'm an aeroplane! Wheeeeee! Enemy aircraft sighted! Man the guns! Bombs away! BOOOOMMM!!"

For extra emphasis, Mikey threw himself to the floor, breaking into hysterical giggles.

Raph tapped Leo on the shoulder, unable to draw his eyes away from the sight of Mikey; who was now doing his best to swim across the floor in order to escape the shark he was sure was after him.

"You win the bet Leo.

Drinking Don's coffee DOES give Mikey more energy than usual.

I'd never have believed it...but..."

Mike chose that moment to see if he could reach the ceiling by jumping of the back of the couch.

Leap one...

Leap two...

Leap three...

Leap four...

Don knew the effects of caffeine, but this was going over the score, he decided as he ignored Leo and Raph, wide eyes fixed on the jumping Mikey.

Leap ten...

Leap eleven...

If he put a springboard behind the couch, Mikey would probably jump of it without even noticing. At least then he might reach his target of the ceiling, which had to be about 10 feet above him, even at his highest jump.

Leap sixteen...

Leap seventeen...

Every jump was punctuated with a sharp yelp when Mikey began his freefall. And every landing was accompanied by a loud "BOOM!!" from Mikey.

Someone nudged Don bringing him out of his trance.

"Um, Don? How long will the effects of the caffeine last for?"

"How much did he drink?"

"I told him only half a cup-"

Raph butted in to the conversation.

"He said he liked the taste, he drank the whole jug"

"Ladies....uh...gentleturtles! Leap...hiccup...thirty!!" Mikey launched himself from the back of the couch once more, only to land flat on his shell.

"I think you almost touched the ceiling there Mikey," Raph sniggered.

Mikey was too busy being amused by his latest interest.

"What's he got now? Wait! Mikey don't touch that!"

Don rushed over to where Mikey was fiddling with the latest new invention on the worktop.

"Uh…BOOM?" Mikey asked hopefully looking up at the fuming Donatello.

Raph let out a snort of amusement. Leo let out a slight snigger of laughter.

"Didn't I tell you not to let him near my coffee!?!?!"

Raph spared a glance over to Leo. "You're taking the blame for that one bro," he grinned.

"You were the one who let Mikey drink the coffee!"

"Yeah, but you were the one who had to hold Don back!"

"…okay, I'll give you that"

"YIP YIP YAHOOOO. MI-KEY-RULES!! MI-KEY-RULESSSS!!!!!"

Don attempted to tackle his clapping sibling, only to land up with a mouthful of floor when Mikey darted out of his way with all the speed of a cheetah.

Mikey didn't let up on his chanting.

"MI-KEY-RULES!! MI-KEY-RULES!! MI-KEY-RULES!!"

Leo and Raph couldn't hold in their laughter anymore. They collapsed to the ground, in helpless fits of laughter as Mikey's laps of the lair continued to be interrupted by flips up the wall.

"MI-KEY-RULES!!!!"

As far as I know, he's still running up those walls. But, of course, the coffee may have nothing to do with that...after all this is Mikey we're talking about.
Personally, I think he just took the chance to act like an maddo...an insane turtle on coffee...they could just give him coffee before they fight the shredder...hmm...
