"Oh you have GOT to be kidding," Kagami complained, the long haired young woman chairing the official 'Whoops we got cancelled' meeting.

Konata sighed as she addressed the group of women gathered at the table, "We just have a overbooked writer. It happens."

"But we barely get in fanfics anymore since Bandai went belly up and our series ended!" Hiyori wailed, smashing the fourth wall into bits in the process. "I can't get by with just the pay from bit parts in other peoples series!"

"At least you can still get work as a yuri artist," Nanako complained. "What kind of roles are there for teacher-characters?"

"Well, actually quite a lot. You could always get bit parts in high school alternate universe stories," Tsukasa suggested reasonably.

"Have you READ some of that crap? I'd rather stay unemployed," Nanako visibly shuddered. She had tried out for a part in a Naruto high school AU, it was horrible. Jumpsuited ninjas and giant boob monsters everywhere!

"Has Yui found a new gig yet?" Konata asked her curiously.

"She's appearing as a tank driver in one of Shanejayell's Dominion Tank Police fanfics, actually," Nanako noted.

There was a moment of dead silence as everyone processed that idea. "She'll probably fit in just fine," Kagami finally noted.

"Is that a insult to my girlfriend or to the Tank Police?" Nanako wondered wryly.

"Bit of both?" Konata suggested.

Tsukasa decided it was best to just ignore that. "At least appearing in this fic was a nice break from the porn dojins." Everyone looked at her and she blushed, "What? Don't tell me you guys haven't! I've seen them."

"Oh really?" her big sister drawled. Kagami looked amused, "I would have you know I ALWAYS use body doubles in my porn dojin appearances."

"And how did you find out about those?" Nanako had to ask.

"That's probably my fault, actually," Hiyori admitted, "I think she got into my collection when we had our fling."

Kagami blinked, "You two..."

Hiyori paled, realizing she had a angry big sister to deal with. Deciding a distraction was in order she blurted, "Hey, where's Patty? I thought she'd be here."

"She's still running the cosplay cafe, I think," Konata told them, "she's gotten a contract to provide extras for Arisugawa's Locket appearances."

"Lucky," Nanako sighed.

The door burst open and Kou Yasaka burst in, and no one recognized her.

"Hey!" Kou yelled at the author, "Don't you disrespect me because I'm just a manga only character who never showed up in the anime!"

"Hey, stranger, how's it going?" Konata waved.

"I'm here to resume our rivalry!" Kou declared.

Konata looked at her blankly, "What?"

"You don't remember our epic video game rivalry?" Kou gasped. She burst into tears, "I've been betrayed!" With that, she ran out of the room.

"That was random," Hiyori blinked.

"I think the author wanted to work that in at one point," Konata mused. "Since the story is ending anyway, he tossed it in?"

"Here's something I wondered," Kagami noted, "why was Miyuki not in this? I mean, sexy girls with glasses is one of Shanejayell's things..."

"Last time I checked she was busy staring in a Read or Die alternate universe series," Konata noted, "with lots of 'h' scenes with her and Yomiko."

Several cast members got nosebleeds thinking of THAT.

Hiyori pouted, "Where can I get into THAT action?"

Deciding it might be best to change the subject Tsukasa suggested, "Hey, since we're all done here let's go crash Arisugawa's Locket? We can get blasted and do kareoke."

"Whoo hoo," Minami nodded.

"When did you get here?" Konata asked, blinking at the tall, green haired girl.

"I was always here, I was just so quiet you didn't notice me," Minami explained.

"Ah," Kagami nodded. "Yeah, let's go hit the Locket," she agreed as they all got up. She smirked at her girlfriend, "Got your ID, honey?"

"Yeah, yeah. I get very tired of getting Ided," Konata complained.

"Get used to it," Kagami hugged her, "but I love you anyway."

Notes: Yeah, I really should have formally ended this fic earlier, honestly. But I had hoped I'd get inspired for another chapter, at least.
