So tearbos wanted to see the resident genius in a swimsuit. Hope this will suffice. :)

Standard disclaimers apply.

Oliver had to laugh. "Reid, what the hell is that?" he asked as he saw his friend walk out of the dressing room.

"My swimsuit."

"Oh-kay," Oliver said, string in disbelief. "Just don't let Landon see…"

--"What the hell is that?"—

The older investigator gave Reid a look. Too late.

--"It's my swimsuit,"-- Reid told the younger man, who was staring at Reid like he'd jumped out of a catalog from the 1890's. –"I don't like being seen without clothes on."—

--"I don't like teaching a walking garment factory how to swim, either,"—Landon said plainly, shaking his head. –"You'll sink like a rock in that."—

--"Well, I don't have anything else."—Reid hands flew up in the air to prove his point. –"And I'm not swimming naked."—

Oliver had turned around and started walking to the deep end of the pool. He was trying hard not to show Reid that he was barely containing his laughter at the sight of the young agent covered in old denim and a pair of badly patched corduroys.

Landon took a step next to Reid, holding a hand at his head and doing some quick measurements. --"You might fit in one of my old suits,"-- he said, calculating figures with an appraising eye. --"Hang on, I'll get it."--

Reid turned a violent shade of scarlet. "Oliver!" he hissed, frantically motioning his friend back to the shallow edge of the pool deck. "He's going to get an old suit…"

"Oh," Oliver said. "Yeah. That'll fit better, really…"

"How tiny is it?"

"What?"

"How tiny is it?" Reid demanded again, his voice so low Oliver could barely understand him.

Oliver chuckled. "Oh, you'll see," he replied. "I think you'll like it."

It was another fifteen minutes before Landon emerged from a storage locker with a grayish garment in his hands. "Here," he said, pointing at the object in his hand. --"Go in and try this on."—

Reid studied the suit he'd been given. It was fairly long, with actual legs and long sleeves in it. It was more a midnight blue color than an actual gray, but the shimmering effect of the pool lights had made it difficult to determine at first glance. Resignedly, he marched into the dressing room and put on the suit, which actually fit better than he'd originally thought.

Not bad, he thought. Covers everything that needs to be covered…

He walked out onto the pool deck to the appraising eyes of both Landon and Oliver, who both gave the 'thumbs up' sign. As Landon began the first lesson, a pair of girls in flattering bikinis came to take a few dives off the board in the diving pond, and they smiled widely when they saw Reid crawl out of the pool and shake his mop of long brown hair. The girls' hands were flittering excitedly, and Reid was certain that one of them snapped a picture with a cell phone.

--"Seriously, do I look all right in this?"—he asked, getting himself ready for the next lesson.

--"Like a born swimmer,"—Landon assured him. –"And you're doing great."—

And the fact he looks like a calendar model in that thing doesn't hurt either, Oliver thought, smiling to himself as he took the block for a quick swim.
