Hi everyone. Thank you for all the reviews. Here is a new chapter. Please let me know what you think. I hope to finish up soon. Not beta'd.

Did some minor corrections. Working on a new chapter. Hope to finish this story. This year.

She stood nervously in front of her full length mirror checking out her out fit. Madara had called last evening and told her that he'd pick her up at 7:30 am and not to wear heels. As if she would, being around him she'd probably fall flat on her face.

She figured they'd be out and about so she tried for outdoorsy but chic. So today her outfit consisted of her lavender jeans with her new pair of Black laced boots. For her top she had white camisole with an unbuttoned black and white checkered blouse. She had a large brown leather messenger bag with her also. It didn't match her outfit but it was big enough to fit what she needed as she was going to be out all day. She didn't bother putting on any make up other than a bit of lip balm, not that she usually wore much to begin with.

At 7:28am she went out to the main gate of the compound. The guard there opened for her and told her to enjoy her date while the other one winked at her. She fought the blush that threatened to erupt and quickly made her way from their sight. As she stepped through she saw that familiar black car with an even more familiar body leaning against it. His spiky hair was wild and loose with his bangs shadowing his eyes which she knew where black abysses mixed with red so rich it could have been blood itself. He was dressed very casually today in black jeans that fitted him like he was born in it, a black cotton shirt with a hood and a strange red cloud on the left breast area, and completed the look with black combat boots. He looked like a dark prince.

He smirked as he noticed that she was lost in her examination of him. For some reason he liked that, he wanted her to see only him. He shifted off the car and she came around and realized that she had been caught staring once again. The blush she had diligently fought off before came back with a vengeance and this time it would not be tamed.

He opened the car door for her. She entered quickly if only to hide her embarrassment. He chuckled at her expression which only caused her heart to skip a few beats at the velvety sound as it caressed her ears. He got in a quick moment after, still quite amused. They headed off in the direction of the main city area of Konoha.

He had set up a session of volunteering at the Konoha orphanage not that he wanted to spend his time chasing after snot nosed brats but on the flip side it would make him look good in the eyes of both Hinata and the media. Not that the media should be there but it was him so word would get around. And also Hinata seemed like she'd enjoy helping less fortunate especially kids. Maybe. He wasn't sure but it was too late now that they had arrived.

Hinata realised that they had pulled up at the Orphanage. She knew this place well as she came here on many occasions.

They parked and exited the car. There seemed to be a few other vehicles parked in the lot. Not strange at all but the fact that they were all high end cars was a cause for concern. Who else was here? He cut off his train of thought as he realised that it whoever they were couldn't possible interfere with his plans.

They entered the main building, Hinata seemed very relaxed so he mentally pat himself on the back. Perfect execution as usual. They went to the office area to sign in with the headmistress. As they reached office the door opened before them and several pairs of identical eyes met.

Madara glared, might have been his default expression, at his younger cousins who looked back at him unaffectedly. "What a grand and utter coincidence to see you here, Madara-sama." Drawled the elder Uchiha.

"Hn." Answered Madara trying his best to act like the persons in front on him did not exist.

"Ah Hyuuga-chan, lovely to see you today." He took her hand and barely brushed his lips across her knuckles. She was instantly in flames. He didn't get to enjoy her reaction as much as he wanted as he was looking for reactions from a certain individual and he had to be very perceptive of them as those tended to be minute at the most.

He saw it, a slight spasm of the hand that was pretty much equal to that individual backhanding him into oblivion. He smirked. He turned slightly to appraise Madara whose facial expression may not have changed but his eyes literally burned him to death on the spot. The answer he sought was simpler than he had thought. Very Interesting.

Madara would do anything right now to freeze time kill Itachi and dispose the evidence. That infernal man child was testing him and by Kami he couldn't help his reaction and most definitely gave himself away to the thrice damned Uchiha genius. If it had been anyone else it would have flown over their head.

The other Uchiha wasn't paying attention to him though, caught up in analysing his elder brothers' actions. Small mercies as he didn't think he could stomach both of them google eying him (The Uchiha version still which was really barely a glance just a millisecond longer than their usual glances but they know it, lol). One less murder to plan.

In order not to prolong this sickening display Madara neatly ushered Hinata into the office whilst she was replying to Itachi. "Good to see y-

The door slammed cutting off the conversation before she could finish. "Madara, that was r-rude." She was appalled at the lack of etiquette but didn't dwell on it as he was already greeting the woman at the desk.

"Welcome Madara-sama, as you may have noticed other members of your family also decided to volunteer today, isn't that lovely."

"Hn." He answered stoically,

"Um, yes well it was unexpected but rather welcomed." She turned to smile at Hinata who smiled back in greeting. "Since your here with Hinata-chan she can show you the ropes. You two can wash up and begin in the nursery ok."

"No p-problem Mizuna-san."

Hinata led Madara to the nursery, he seemed to be in a somewhat bad mood since meeting up with Itachi but she figured he would soon simmer down. When they entered there was an attendant already in there looking after some of the babies. Her short brown hair caught up messily she seemed a bit flustered.

"Oh Hinnata-chan," she stage whispered, "glad to see you today, Morie is off today so..."

"Glad we could help." Hinata smiled. She could see that Risa-chan needed the help. She went and got the aprons from the cupboard and gave one to Madara. He looked at her with a look that said 'Are you insane.'

"Um the babies normally make a mess so..." Madara wondered why he didn't just bring her shopping or something but he knew that she probably wouldn't enjoy that as much. He took the apron from her and put it on swiftly. She then proceeded to pick up the nearest baby and taught him how to tend to them. Madara thought it was quite simple so within half an hour he was sure he could do it.

He left Hinata and went to another nearby crib where a quite round and sickeningly adorable baby lay gurgling wetly whilst chewing on her fingers. He stood over the child reaching for her carefully as she stopped chewing and looked at him quite apprehensively at least that's how he thought she looked at him.

He picked her up as Hinata had showed him and began carrying her over to the feeding area. He literally could feel the baby's eyes boring into the side of his head. When he looked back at her, her face was made up in a way that had him now feeling apprehensive, and then it happened a shriek tore through the air successfully making him temporarily deaf in his right ear as the baby began to fight him he did as Hinata had showed him trying to calm the child down. It was a flawed technique as the child fought harder and cried louder.

By the time Hinata felt pity which wasn't very long and came to rescue him he looked as if he had been in a death match and came out on the losing end. He was in a state of shock as a mere dribbling infant had practically brought him to his knees and he, Madara Uchiha had to be rescued. Within minutes the baby had been calmed and was now being fed, calm as ever as if she hadn't just been bawling bloody murder a short while ago. There after he contented himself to just assist Hinata with each baby she tended.

After a while Risa asked him to take the dirty clothing to the laundry for her and to empty the trash. She had been afraid to ask the intimidating Uchiha anything, but seeing as he was here with Lady Hinata he couldn't be that bad. He grunted his assent and she gave him directions.

Whilst doing his duty he perused the facility and realised that all the monies donated to the orphanage had been put to good use as the building was exquisite, well-kept well-stocked and rooms and play area very homely.

On returning to the nursery, he came upon a sight that made him think death was too good for certain people. Before him stood one such person, Sasuke Uchiha, he was holding a baby who was gurgling cutely and smiling showing its single tooth whilst Hinata cooed and tickled him making his fat arms and legs flare as he laughed.

Looking the picture of a happy family, it made him want to string the brat up somewhere and torture him slowly and continuously. He then heard a click beside him only to see Itachi with his phone obviously taking picture. This also caught Sasukes' attention as he growled "That better be a selfie, you bastard." Itachi smirked which only raised Sasukes' ire.

Madara brushed passed the elder Uchiha and went by Hinata, who was taking the baby from Sasuke to lay him back in his cot. He put himself between the two teens and promptly told Hinata that they were leaving. Hinata pouted a bit but didn't argue as she was getting hungry anyway. They went to the wash up area, Madara distinctly ignoring the smirk that played on Itachi's lips promising himself to give him the longest most difficult and disgusting assignment he could find in hope that the Uchiha heir would suffer.

Madara finally calmed down as they arrived at the car thinking back on his reaction that those infernal brothers caused him realised there was a possibility that the emotion that he had been feeling and somewhat displaying may have been jealousy. Never had he felt that way before, he may have seen someone with something he wanted but he had never felt jealous or envious as he knew confidently that he could get it if he truly wanted. This feeling was different. Hinata had a mind of her own and as he witnessed she wasn't materialistic and apparently could not be played as easily as persons would think. So the fact that she could choose not to associate with him was real and that caused those feeling accompanied by the foreign clenching of that annoying far too emotional organ at the thought of not being around her. When the hell did he become so disgustingly sentimental?

He had planned to spend the majority of the day with her caring for the kids but that was cut short due to interference of the familial kind so he had to wing it. They were heading into the restaurant district. Since it was still day time he parked at a nearby garage and they walked into the area with food stalls.

Hinata's face lit up. It was like in those shoujo mangas eating together like this. They first stopped by an Okonomiyaki (Japanese pizza/pancake) stall ordering their own unique one. They looked at other stalls taking pictures and observing any other interesting occurrences like dancers, games etc. It was Saturday after all so many things were going on around them.

Madara veered them off to apparently a stall that sold Inarizushi where it was easy to see he was a regular. Hinata made a mental note to make some for him soon. She had been told by her family that she made the best so now she was anxious to see what Madara would think.

By the time they were leaving almost two hours had past and Hinata was stuffed to the brim, feeling like she didn't want to see anymore food for the rest of her life. She also found out through conversation today that Madara despised roe so she'd avoid that when making meals as she wasn't a fan either. They had sampled food such as Takoyaki and dango, to the point where they stopped buying two of each and got one and shared. At one point Madara had dango syrup right at the corner of his mouth from the stick they shared that she kept staring at trying to tell him with her eyes.

"What is it?" He asked smirking at her roguishly.

She smiled at him holding back her laughter a bit, "Ano...you have something there." She pointed out on the own face. His smirk widened as he leaned closer to her. "Well, take it off."

"Oh!" she squeaked in surprise at his closeness. She raised a slightly trembling hand to his lips, her heart sounding like explosions in her ear. She carefully wiped the dango syrup from the corner, mesmerized as to how soft those lips felt only to have him captured her finger in his mouth as his warm tongue lapped at the sweet liquid.

Sometime ago he had done something she can't recall right now but she had thought at that time that it was what heaven felt like apparently she hadn't even been a little close. The sensation of his tongue on her finger pad sent vicious tingles through her entire body making her weak, it was a good thing she was seated.

She couldn't even imagine what would ever happen to her if those lips, those lovely lips touched her own. She burned worse than ever at the sensation and her own thoughts. He then gave her reprieve as he released her finger. He chuckled at her.

Hinata was soaring, she couldn't even speak. She hurriedly gathered her composure so they could get moving. What she didn't know was that she wasn't the only one affected. He almost cursed himself as he took in her expression and just then his mind wondered to places they shouldn't in the middle of a busy street. He took a good long gulp from his cold drink.

Although they hadn't bought large servings she had leftovers which she packaged neatly and placed in her bag. She saw lots of other traditional foods but she kept those in memory to try with him another time. She felt pleasantly warmed at her thoughts.

Their last stop for the day had been to the park which was near the market district to sit and relax a bit. It was about 4pm, and as they walked side by side Madara carried her bag as it would be ill mannered of him not to even though she insisted that she could manage.

They strolled past street artists finishing up for the day. One came up to them and asked if he could draw them, Madara was about to tell him off but Hinata's expression veered on the opinion that she wished to do so and apparently he and Hinata were acquainted.

He sighed imperceptibly and signaled to the young man to carry on. Sai smiled weirdly at the two and asked them to stand by a flowering tree; Madara grumpily placed the bag on a close by bench and stood beside Hinata who had a light dusting of red on her cheeks. He became a bit lost in looking at her that he only came to when Sai said he was done, Hinata had coloured more when she realised that both of them had been staring at each other.

Sai refused to show them the sketch now, insisting that he'd show them the finished product. Hinata was visible excited that Sai was going to do a full portrait. She knew from when she had spoken to him in recent times at school that he was a very gifted artist.

As he and Hinata engaged in small talk Madara felt that damnable feeling coming on, which he swiftly crushed as he picked up the bag and headed back over to the pair. The small group said their goodbyes and headed their separate ways.

By the time they arrived at the Hyuuga compound Hinata was still on a pleasant high, he told her that he'd pick her up at ten in the morning so she literally floated into the main house past her family finishing up dinner. They definitely picked up on her good mood.

"Looks like the date went well." Stated Hanabi who was answered by a "Hn," from both stoic males.
