A/n: I have no idea where I pulled this from. It just jumped at when I was typing. It was supposed to be just about Zim and DIb, but it didn't work out that way.

Zim and Dib had a hard time with their love in public. They didn't know how to be with each other in front of others. Sure, they walked closer together, sat closer then normal, leaned closer as they talked and brushed each other with little touches as they tried to act like friends.

Tak and Gaz were far different from their male counterparts. They didn't care what people saw or thought. They held hands as they walked, Gaz took her seat on Tak's lap once the Irken woman sat down, the kissed as they talked and they touched without shame.

They were the same couples with gender changes. Zim and Dib were never far from the others side, Tak and Gaz were always side by side. Everyone saw the couples for what they were. It wasn't hard. Zim was more forceful and demanded Dib's attention, while Dib looked for Zim's approval and found it in the small smiles and almost kisses that Zim often gave him. Tak didn't need to be forceful, Gaz only had eyes for her lover and was the only one Tak had eyes for in turn. The boys and the girls weren't as different as everyone thought though.

Dib and Zim were passionate. They just preferred the sweet privacy of Dib's room.

Tak and Gaz were passionate. They didn't care if the world was watching.

They were very much the same. Both Irkens would destroy anything for their human loves. And both humans knew they would die if their Irkens ever left them. Maybe it was these two facts that destroyed the Irken Armada and brought Earth to it's knees. Or maybe that's why I'm sitting here, only fourteen, and writing out my parents love story. Which couple is my parents you may ask. I'll give you a hint.

I have a twin brother.

a/n: If anyone can guess her parents, I'll dedicate a story to you. Pick the couple and everything and I'll write you a story. Cross my heart and swear on my all holy Coca-Cola. (bow)
