Chapter 16: Hi! My names Renesmee

Bella POV:

I didn't return to school for another week citing that Ren had gotten sick and I needed to take care of her. However, I couldn't hide any longer, Forks was getting too curious, and rumors were flying as Lily mentioned when she checked in on us. As I parked my truck and walked toward the building, I felt the Cullen's staring at me. I ignored them and continued on my way. I knew they had questions and they wanted answers. As I was walking to my next class, Alice and Jasper appeared next to me and walked along side me to my class. I tried ignoring them until I reached my class and went to go in when Alice stopped me. What the hell does she think she is doing? I snatched my arm away and glared at her.

"Bella, please you have to explain what happened."

The HELL I DO! I thought. I just glared her again and went to go into the classroom again when you spoke again.

"You own us a explanation" I froze and turn on her.

"Excuse YOU! I OWN you nothing! You lost that right along time ago. Like I told HIM stay out of my way!"

"Bella Please! We miss you and want to know how this happened and what was happening between you and Edward the other day. We care. Please!"

I couldn't look at her anymore, otherwise she would see the hurt and pain. I turned back and simply said "No".

The bell rang and she left to get to her class with Jasper. I notice her face showed hurt and Jasper trying to calm her. How could she claim that she missed me when she left without another word? Was I just some type of toy for them to play with when they were in town?

My mind went on like this for the rest of the class until lunchtime. I skipped the cafeteria again and went to the library. I was debating on skipping Biology so I wouldn't have to see Him. NO! I can't let him scare me away from my home again. I kept repeating the words "This is our home" repeatedly as I walked to Biology.

Edward POV:

Bella hadn't been to school for a couple of weeks. I thought the worst, thinking she had left town again. I looked for her, but couldn't pick up her scent. I wanted to talk to Jake and ask him but my family warned me about the treaty. I didn't want to cause any more trouble. I wanted to know what she was. Moreover, how she was able to do what she could? Moreover, what she was doing in the woods? It was two weeks, when I felt hope again, and saw her climb out of her truck and walk toward school. I knew she had to know we were here and looking at her, it was a vampire trait to sense other vampires. However, she kept walking without acknowledging us. Alice and Emmett were upset, Rose was angry and Jasper was curious. Does she hate me that much? She has to it been obvious the way she yelled at me and that grip. As I rubbed my neck. I looked into Jasper mind.

How can she not feel me or I her?

Looks like his powers didn't work on her either. I looked to Alice hoping she could give me a glimpse into the day if I would get a chance to talk to Bella, she couldn't get anything either. What are you? I though. I had to know. I started walking after her when Alice stopped me and told me "Edward, maybe its better if I approached her first? She doesn't seem to want to talk to you." My chest felt tight, until a sense of calm came over me.

"Thanks Jazz."

"Anytime"

I went through the day thinking about Bella and how she was so close but so far away. When I got to our usually lunch table Alice was upset and Jasper was comforting her. I looked into her mind and heard Bella's words repeating back about staying away. Alice kept repeating, "Why does she hate me?" "Its not you Alice its me." I looked at her, with pain evident on my face.

"Alice, don't let her get to you. We don't need her anyway. I still want to kick her ass for what she did to Edward." Rosalie stated.

"I deserved it Rosalie, you wont harm her at all. GOT IT. " I replied. "I was the one who ruined her vanquishing circle as Jake said. I messed up things again."

"Pfft" was Rosalie only remark and she went back to examining her nails.

"Edward, please stop blaming yourself, we forgave you." Alice said looking up at me.

"Its not your forgiveness that I need Alice" As I looked around for her, but not seeing her again. I was hoping she would be in Biology; at least I would get to be near her for a little. I got up, left before the bell, and headed to Biology lab.

BELLA POV:

As I entered the lab, I wasn't the only one there. I sensed him, avoided looking at him, and waited for the teacher to get in. As the teacher settled in, I spoke to him asking if I could switch lab partners and tired to charm him. He seemed a bit dazed until some of the student started becoming loud and distracting him. "I'm sorry Ms. Halloway but that seems to be impossible at this time. Please take your seat next to Mr. Cullen." He stated sternly as he could. At least, I tired. I made my way towards the lab table still avoiding him, moved my stool to the very edge, and took my seat. I felt him starting at me, and the pain began to intensify.

"Bella?"

I refused to acknowledge him.

"Bella Please!" He begged in whispers.

Every word my pain intensified and my mind started playing memories of us. I gripped the lab table trying to keep myself together and from yelling at him. The teacher called for attention to start the class. I could still feel his eyes on me. I was lost in my mind when I felt my cell phone vibrate in my pocket. I stood up almost knocking my stool but grabbed it at vampire speed to stop it from falling. I searched through my bag and answered my cell without looking. It was Renesmee.

"Mommy! Whimper. I need you. I'm thirsty," she said crying.

I froze.

"Bella? What's wrong? Are you okay?" Edward's asked worriedly.

His voice snapped me out of my thoughts. How could I forget to take Ren hunting? How could I have made her cry? Flashes of Ren face crying kept passing through my mind. I packed in flash and raised my hand thinking of an excuse. Yes? Ms. Halloway?

"May I be excused? I'm not feeling to good. I think I have cramps."

The teacher's eyes widened as he stutter and response of yes quickly and handed me a pass. I ran out of the class and towards my truck. I was too caught up in Ren crying that I didn't notice anyone was following me.

I got to Ren's school and raced inside hoping she was okay. I excused her from class claiming a family emergency and held onto to her. "Mommy so sorry angel. So sorry!"

"Momma please I need naminal" she couldn't say animal. I raced her into the truck and sped off to the house knowing I had an emergency stock of animal blood in a fridge.

I ran through the door with Ren and placed her on the counter grabbed some packets of blood I had harvested and poured it into a glass and told her to drink.

When my mind finally registered that she was okay and not in danger of harming anyone, I finally sensed vampires near the house. I was about to rush outside, but before I could the Cullen's burst through my front door.

I stepped in front of Ren hiding her. No! This cannot happen! DAMN IT!

"What the hell do you think you are doing?" I asked as I wrapped a shield around Ren.

"Bella I saw Edward run after you. And though you were leaving" Alice spoke first. "Bella are you okay? What happened? Edward repeating his questions.

"Who's that?" Rosalie asked

Shit! She saw Ren!

"That's none of your concern! Get out of my house!" As I stepped further in front of Ren.

They all froze and as they smelled, what Ren was drinking.

"Is she drinking what I think she drinking?" it was Emmett who asked.

Damn it! I don't want them to know about her. They don't deserve to! Nevertheless, they saw her, I have to tell them or are they going to think she's something she not.

"BELLA! HOW COULD YOU!" Rosalie exclaimed.

"Its not what you think. Please calm down or you will scare her. Please."

"How could she not, She's DRINKING BLOOD! "

"Please! Calm down! I'm warning you!"

They all started talking at once and Rose crouched down. I didn't even think about it. I pushed my shield out and sent them crashing into the wall. I grabbed Ren and ran to the only place I knew they wouldn't risk entering.

As I arrived at Jake's house, I walked right into his house surprising Angie and Will.

"Bella! Ren! What are doing here?"

Jake came rushing in as he heard Angie's raised voice.

"Bella? What's wrong?" He asked when he saw the look on my face.

"The Cullen's Know about Ren."

"WHAT! How did that happen?"

I set Ren down and let her play with Will. "

"Its all my fault!" I can't even protect my own daughter.

"What are you talking about?" Jake asked

"I've been so caught up in my own problems that I forgot to take Ren hunting and then she was thirsty in class and I just reacted and took her home and the Cullen's followed me and they smelled what I gave Ren…"

"Oh B."

Jake and Angie wrapped their arms around me. It felt good for a bit until I realized I would have to talk to the Cullen's about this.

" I need to talk to the Cullen's."

"Bella you don't own them anything. We can keep Ren safe."

"I have try to explain to them about Ren and how she become what she is or I will have to leave again."

"No!"

"It's the only way."

"Can you trust them?"

"That's something I have to risk." I hope at least I could trust Carlisle.
