The classroom was hushed, still, save for the movement of quill on parchment. A small scrap of paper bounced off Remus Lupin's shoulder and, like the multitude of others, landed in his pack.
This time however, he didn't frown, but smirked. Finally, Sirius Black was out of spare paper. Since beginning their History exams, Sirius had tried his hardest to get his Lycan boyfriend's attention. It hadn't worked. He pouted childishly.
"Moony," He whined later, as they left the class for lunch, "You didn't read any of my notes!"
"Padfoot, I was taking a test, Nothing you could have said would have been more important," Remus was surprised to see Sirius' face fall.
"Fine," The Animagus pouted and brushed past him toward the Great Hall. Remus stared after him, dumbfounded. Curious, he went through his pack and found the notes.
The first one read, "I love you."
His flush grew steadily darker as he read on. They all said that. He folded them reverently and tucked them into his pack, then hurried after Sirius.
