A/N: The End. Happy face.

Back in Port Royal several days later…

The Official was reading a proclamation, "Jack Sparrow, be it known that you have…"

Jack muttered to himself as he was standing on the gallows, "Captain, Captain Jack Sparrow."

The Official ignored him, and continued, "…for your willful commission of crimes against the crown. Said crimes being numerous in quantity and sinister in nature, the most egregious of these to be cited here with – piracy, smuggling…"

Elizabeth meanwhile was standing with her father and her future husband. "This is wrong." She said.

Governor Swann replied, "Commodore Norrington is bound by the law. As are we all."

The Official was still going on, "…impersonating an officer of the Spanish Royal Navy, impersonating a cleric of the Church of England…"

Jack smiled to himself, "Ah, yes." He looked over at the executioner, who glared at him.

The Official still continued, "…sailing under false colors, arson, kidnapping, looting, poaching, brigandage, pilfering, depravity, depredation, and general lawlessness. And for these crimes you have been sentenced to be, on this day, hung by the neck until dead. May God have mercy on your soul."

Will walked through the crowd to the raised ground on which the Governor, Elizabeth, the Commodore, and we stood. "Governor Swann, Commodore, Elizabeth, Mary, Rose. Mary, I should have told you every day from the moment I met you. I love you." He walked away, and the noose was put around Jack's neck. I nearly began to cry, I couldn't believe Will loved me!

Elizabeth noticed Cotton's parrot land on a British flag. "I can't breathe." As she said this, Kelsey and I nodded to each other and we all simultaneously fell backward, and the drums sounded.

Governor Swann exclaimed, "Ladies!" He and the Commodore helped us up.

Will shouted, "Move!" He threw a sword as Jack fell through, and the sword stuck in the wood and Jack had a foothold. Will began to fight to the gallows, and there cut Jack free. They fought all the way up to a tower, where Norrington's men cornered them.

Norrington said to Will, "I thought we might have to endure some manner of ill-conceived escape attempt but not from you."

Governor Swann said, "On our return to Port Royal, I granted you clemency. And this is how you thank me? By throwing in your lot with him? He's a pirate!"

Will said, "And a good man." Jack pointed to himself proudly, and mouthed, 'That's me.' "If all I have achieved here is that the hangman will earn two pairs of boots instead of one, so be

it. At least my conscience will be clear." Kelsey pushed a few soldiers out of her way, and stood next to Jack.

"I won't let you kill him." She said defiantly.

Norrington glared at Will and Kelsey. "You forget your place, Turner." Kelsey looked open-mouthed at him. He just completely ignored her! Sexist pig…

Will said, "It's right here…between you and Jack."

I shoved a couple of others out of the way and went to stand next to Will. "As is mine."

Elizabeth stood beside us, her eyes firm. "And mine as well."

Governor Swann yelled, "Elizabeth, Mary, Rose! Lower your weapons. For goodness' sake put them down!" The weapons were lowered.

Norrington looked at all of us. "So this is where your hearts truly lie, then?"

The three of us women replied, "It is."

Jack noticed Mr. Cotton's parrot flying about, and grabbed Kelsey around the waist. "Well! I'm actually feeling rather good about this." He said to Governor Swann, "I think we've all arrived at a very special place, eh? Spiritually… Ecumenically… Grammatically?" He said to Norrington, "I want you to know that I was rooting for you, mate. Know that. Elizabeth …it would never have worked between us, darling. I'm sorry. Mary… you're no prostitute. Will …nice hat. Friends! This is the day that you will always remember as the day that – ." They fell over the battlement.

Gillette said as he shook his head, "Idiot. He has nowhere to go but back to the noose."

A sentry shouted, "Sail ho!"

Gillette said to the Governor, "What's your plan of action? Sir?"

Governor Swann said with a wry smile, "Perhaps on the rare occasion pursuing the right course demands an act of piracy, piracy itself can be the right course?"

Norrington looked at Will. "Mr. Turner."

Will said firmly as he looked to me, "I will accept the consequences of my actions."

"Will, no!" I hissed.

Norrington unsheathed his sword. "This is a beautiful sword. I would expect the man who made it to show the same care and devotion in every aspect of his life."

Will nodded, surprised this was all. "Thank you, Commodore."

Gillette shouted, "Commodore! What about Sparrow?"

Norrington smiled, and said, "Well, I think we can afford to give him one day's head start." The soldiers filed out behind him as the Commodore left.

Elizabeth asked me with an amused smile, "This is the path you've chosen, is it? After all…he is a blacksmith."

I said, my eyes shining, "No." I took off Will's hat. "He's a pirate. He's my pirate." The Governor led Elizabeth away, and Will and I kissed again, our bodies molded together in happiness. And then, we jumped off the battlement and swam over to the Black Pearl in Kelsey and Jack's wake.

Jack and Kelsey were heaved onboard the Black Pearl first, and Jack said to Gibbs, "I thought you were supposed to keep to the Code."

Gibbs voiced, "We figured they were more actual…guidelines." He helped Jack and Kelsey to their feet.

"Hello! There are two people still down here!" I shouted. Gibbs looked down at us. I was treading water, pouting with my arms folded across my chest. Will looked very amused at my impatience as he too treaded water.

"Oh, sorry." Gibbs said, as he helped us up on the ship.

Cotton handed Jack his hat, and Jack thanked him.

Anamaria said, "Captain Sparrow" She put his coat around his shoulders, "…the Black Pearl is yours."

Jack and Kelsey walked over to the helm and looked around fondly, then yelled, "On deck, you scabrous dogs! Man the braces! Let down and haul to run free. Now...bring me that horizon." He hummed and took out his compass. "And really bad eggs…drink up, me 'earties, yo ho."
