Note: Sorry for the long for this sequel! I was having a terrible writer's block until when I was having my EXAMS!! So I'm actually NOT studying and writing this… By the way, all those who've read my previous story, I mentioned Noise Marie as Noise and Howard Link as Howard… I'm gonna change them to Marie and Link in this sequel.
Setting: I think they're still at the Headquarters. (You might wonder why they're still there when there's a BIG HOLE in the castle…)
Disclaimer: I do not own D.Gray man and the characters. I'm just using some of the characters for some fun XD
Warnings: Those who don't like BL/shounen ai/Yaoi don't read! There's a bit of sex talk in this chapter since I- oops, I mean they're getting more pervertic by the moment (It IS rated M). There're no M-rated writings in this chapter. My English may make you sick as well.
Chapter 1: Dilemma
Lavi lied on his bed, thinking, once again. His bed seems to be the only place where he can think peacefully every time he has problems. However, this time, it's not about his innocence, not about Allen, not about the Black Order.
It's about him, Lavi, the 18-year-old boy, who was abandoned by his parents during a vacation when he was young. Previously the successor of Bookman, now an Exorcist.
He knew this would happen, right from the beginning, but he still went on with it. He left the position of the Bookman successor without much thought and became a full-time Exorcist.
Now, he regretted it. Or, just that he thinks that he regretted it.
Although carrying the responsibilities of a Bookman was tiring, he still missed it. He missed how he had to read up never-ending histories of different countries, missed how he had to record the happenings between the Black Order and the Earl, he even missed getting beaten up by Bookman, whom he always named "Panda Gramps".
Had he made the wrong decision?
He pulled his headband-form Innocence down, covering his left eye and a double layer cover for his right eye, before forcing himself to sleep – the only the way to escape from reality.
OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoO
Half-asleep, he felt warmth and tenderness moving across his right cheek. The touch was followed by a slimy, wet glide from his neck, up to his ear which was blocked by his headband, preventing the intruder from reaching any further than earlobe.
Lavi swallowed a moan as it transformed into nibbles on the visible part of his ear. He decided not to move since it was unknown to him whether it's ally or enemy.
"A-A…lle…n?" was the first word that came out of his mouth. It was the most possible explanation and he wished he was not wrong.
Despite his call, the suspect didn't answer. The next thing he knew, there was softness on his lips.
'At least I know it's human… But I better not assume it's Allen yet!'
With that, the redhead pounced on to the unknown being who gave a yelp. Successfully pinning the person down on his bed with his body, he lifted his Innocence from his eyes and identified the intruder.
"Allen!!" Lavi sighed as he peered down at the one he was currently laying on top of. "Why didn't you answer me? I was terrified that it may not be you…"
"I thought you'd have figured it out that it's me even without me confessing. And I even gave you a kiss as a hint!" the white-haired pouted.
"Well, sorry, my ability as a Bookman successor was to identify through sight and not touch. A voice could tell me as much…" the ex-Bookman successor argued.
"And, why were you scared? Don't tell me you think that you're SO handsome that everybody wants you?" Allen teased.
The older boy flushed pink at the comment, but instead of retorting, he leaned down to hug his lover around the neck and nuzzled against it.
"Lavi?" called the confused and worried boy as the 18-year-old don't usually cuddle him like how a girl would do to her stuffed toys.
"Hmm…" Lavi reached out for Allen's ear and whispered, "Let's start with…why you are in my room, shall we?"
"I'm hungry…"
"What?" The redhead immediately released his grip and raised his head to look at the white-haired. "Then shouldn't you be in the cafete-…" But he broke off when he saw the expression on the glutton. Allen was gazing at his lover with the most lecherous look Lavi had never seen before. Sure, since the first and last intimacy with Allen, they hadn't done anything much more than smooching. Obviously Allen would be hungry for that.
A shiver went down Lavi's spine as he gulped saliva down his throat. Attempting to change the topic, he asked, "Wh-Where's two-spots who's supposed to be monitoring you?"
Allen was disappointed at Lavi's reaction and answered his question reluctantly, "I threw him off my back."
There was a minute of silence before Lavi decided to get off the younger boy and sat at the side of the bed. It was long before warmth surrounded his neck by Allen's arms followed by his head resting next to his.
"So? What're you gonna do with my hungriness?" the glutton asked just like he was giving a command.
"I…I'll accompany you to the cafeteria?" the redhead tried to act clueless to Allen's innuendos.
Knowing that Lavi was trying to escape, Allen said what he wanted very clearly to prevent it. "I want to eat you," he said it so seductively that Lavi couldn't help but feel his pants tighten a little.
"I-I'm not tasty you know…" Lavi tried to escape once again.
"Of course you're not…" Allen leaned in to his right ear and purred, "You're delicious," before licking and nibbling on the sides of his ear. Lavi shut his eye and moaned softly in response.
"I know you want this. Why are you resisting? Why are you rejecting me?" Allen stopped in his actions and demanded answers. He released his arms around Lavi at the same time.
Lavi felt guilty as he knew he shouldn't be cold towards Allen when they're together now. But he knew why he was rejecting Allen and he had to confess to him in order to be honest.
Turning around and grabbing on to his lover's hands, Lavi replied, "I want you to know that I'm not rejecting you because I don't love you anymore."
Allen raised his head and peered into the redhead's emerald green eye which is now filled with seriousness and a tint of passion. Lavi slid his hands up from Allen's hands to his arm, shoulder and finally behind his back where he embraced him affectionately. The younger boy hugged him back.
"Then why…?" Allen inquired, almost begging.
"I'm in a dilemma… I can't fully commit to you because I don't know whether I was right to leave the position as a Bookman successor. If I want to go back…I'll have to forget about you, abandon my innocence and leave the Black Order forever. I'll have to treat it as if I've never lived here before." Lavi confessed.
"Are you regretting?" Allen asked in a comforting voice, although inside, he was breaking apart, knowing that Lavi wanted to leave him.
"No… I'm not sure… Forgive me… That's why I don't want to be too intimate with you, or I'll be unable to forget you at all." Lavi apologized.
"Maybe you should ask Bookman. So far, you've made all your decisions on your own. Why don't you try getting some suggestions?" Allen comforted.
"Yah, maybe I should," the redhead agreed. "And that's not all…"
"Yes?" Allen was quite surprised that there was more than just that reason.
Not intending to leave this matter undone, Lavi continued, "I-It's because you're underage…"
Upon hearing this, the younger boy thought he had heard wrongly. 'Underage? That was reason for Lavi to reject me?!'
"Lavi…"
"Yes?" Lavi pulled away from Allen as he felt the Allen's grip loosened.
"That's the fucking reason you pushed me away?! You, BAKA USAGI!!" Allen threw a fist right into Lavi's face, and he was thrown all the way off the bed, to the floor. There was a loud bang and a shriek when he landed heavily.
"Ow…" Lavi raised himself to sit on the floor, rubbing his head with his arms elbowed on the bed. "A-" was all he could manage until he saw his lover's face. It's was filled with anger to the state where tears would form. Wait… Tears? Oh fuck!
"No, wait! Allen! Don't cry!" Lavi screamed, but it was too late. Tears started to flow down Allen's cheek and the Exorcist who'd just gotten his Innocence in the new form worried. True enough, he felt his pain throughout his entire brain in no time.
"Argh… Allen…" Lavi called before grabbing his head and buried his face into the bed.
"Lavi!!" Wiping his tears away, Allen hurried over to his lover's side and embraced him. He grabbed on to Lavi's usual black shirt as though he could feel Lavi's pain. "Sorry, I should've controlled myself," he sniffed as he tried to prevent more tears from flowing out.
Minutes later, Allen noticed Lavi's grip on his head loosened. "You okay now?"
"Yah… It stopped. Thanks," Lavi wrapped his arms around Allen, pulling him closer.
"Are you nuts? Why the hell are you thanking me for? I was the one who caused this…" Allen smiled, relieved that the redhead was okay.
"Thanks for worrying for me… For staying here… For loving me… For forgiving me…" Lavi hugged him tightly.
