Riza: Alright, so here's chapter six

"Potter, the relationship between mother and child is not one to take for granted." Snape growled. He had taken a seat as Lily left and charmed the door so no one could interrupt his 'Potter-Bashing' nor could Harry leave before he learned his lesson.

"I'm not taking anything for granted; she left me to live with my bitch of an aunt and my fat ass uncle!!" He snapped.

"Watch your tongue!" Severus replied. Harry glared at him.

"You're not my father."

"I know! I'm glad I'm not, you ungrateful little…"

"What do other kids have that I don't?!"

"Respect for their parents! You may not notice, but then you who just yelled at your mother is worse that Draco Malfoy because although he's mean to other students, he respects his mother and father." Severus said.

"How can I respect someone who wasn't here for the last 15 years?!"

"SHE IS YOUR MOTHER!!" Severus yelled, wondering if the boy would get it through his thick skull.

"She left me!!"

"She DID NOT leave you, Potter. Fudge sent you to your aunts and threw your poor mother into the horrors of Azkaban in an attempt to keep you both safe. Everyone else thinks that Lily Potter is dead, buried, and forgotten, but she is still here! She cried for weeks because of what Fudge did. All she wanted was you and your father back, but she was forced to sit in that nasty old cell until now, constantly surrounded by dementors and prison guards. She suffered in hopes that she would one day be freed and then when that day came, instead of welcoming her back with open arms, you decided to accuse her of leaving you!" Severus snapped.

"She doesn't care about me…." Harry tried to argue.

"If she didn't care about you, she wouldn't have stopped me from yelling at you earlier even though you obviously deserved it!"

Harry was silent. He could hear the lock unclick and the door open. He turned to leave, but saw his mother standing in the doorway, eyes shimmering with fresh tears. Remus stood at her side, looking at Harry. Harry bit his lip and walked toward his mother. He ran and hugged her.

"I'm sorry, mum…" He said softly. She hugged him back, tears spilling down her cheeks as she did.

"It's been a trying day for us all. Potter, go off to bed. Lily can stay here if she wishes or she can go home…same goes for you, Lupin." Severus said. Remus agreed to go with Harry and then head home. Whereas Lily did not want to be alone and stayed in Severus' classroom. She looked at him.

"Thank you, Severus…" She said softly. He nodded a bit and guided her to his quarters.

"I just hate to see a son treat his mother so disrespectfully." He said… "Here, you can use the shower if you wish and you can sleep in my bed tonight. I'll sleep on the couch."

"I wouldn't want to rob you of a good night sleep by making you sleep on the couch…" She began.

"It's quite alright, Lily. I shall be on the couch, let me know if you need anything." He said and headed for the living room. She sighed a little and after a quick shower, Lily took up residence in Severus' bed.

Evening came and morning followed, the third day. (For non catholic…or nonreligious persons, that's from the book of Genesis from the bible. XD) Lily's emerald orbs opened as sunlight moved across her pinkish face. She looked up at the ceiling of her friend's bedroom and let out a soft sigh, praying that this day would be easier than the last.

She tried to remember her list from days earlier…bath, sleep…..Harry, food, Severus…clothes was next.

'Yay!' She thought, 'shopping time!' She rolled out of Severus' bed and changed her clothes magically to what she had worn the day before. She headed out into the kitchen to find breakfast waiting for her. She smiled softly and headed toward the table. Severus stood by the table, proudly pouring juice into cups.

"I hope you like it…it's all your favorites, though I'm sure you can tell I'm not the best cook around." He said with a little, half smile. She grinned and moved to him, gave him a quick hug. She quickly sat down and cheerfully surveyed her meal. Although her toast and eggs were slightly singed around the corners and the bacon was brown and crispy, it still smelled and looked enticing. She smiled and began to eat, finding it to be very appetizing.

"This is very yummy, Sev…" She said in between bites. He smiled a little.

"I am glad." He replied. She smiled and continued to munch on her food.

"What do you have to do today, Lily?" He asked lightly, looking at her with his dark eyes.

"Shop." She said cheerfully. He did not look amused and she giggled.

"I need new clothes!" She said in her own defense though both of them knew she'd get way more clothes and shoes than she actually needed. As she finished up, she looked at him.

"You are free to join me if you want to." She said with a little smirk. Yet again, not humored by her statement. She smiled and cleaned up her own plate, thanked him for breakfast and headed out, following the same path as she had with Remus the day before. She apperated to Diagon Alley once again and walked toward Madame Malkin's clothing shop. This would only be her first stop in her little shopping spree…

As Lillian looked through all of the nice robes, she felt sharp eyes on her. She turned her head to see the familiarly icy eyes of the Malfoy family. Mr. and Mrs. Malfoy had hated Miss Evans since she was first enrolled in the wizard school. Being a muggle born, most of the pure-blooded Slytherins had hated her, but the Malfoys and Blacks despised the woman most of all.

Lily's lip curled up slightly into a smirk and she moved a little close, standing upright as some form of elegance. Her green eyes gazed at them. Narcissa seemed to be in a better mood than Lucius so she decided to address her instead.

"Long time no see, Narcissa. How are you?" She asked gently, politely, but a hint of spite was hidden in her words. Narcissa, being a Malfoy, had to act with dignity.

"I am fine, thank you. How are you, Lillian?" She replied, her spite was much more evident than Lily's had been.

"I'm very well…and you, Lucius?" She inquired with a bit of a smirk.

"I'm well…" He replied, thinking of some excuse to leave, "I believe that we will be late if we dawdle any longer, my dear." He said gently to Narcissa. She nodded and agreed. Although Lily would have loved to stay and torture them more, she also needed to hurry up since she had many other trips to make that day, including muggle London. She bid them a good day and proceeded to look through the robes…
