Hey everyone…I know, I know…a POEM? What am I THINKING? It's not even GOOD! Okay, so here's the scoop. Believe it or not, I never found this to be the greatest of my poems, either, but my one friend really liked it. Now this friend of mine, she's moving to Australia tomorrow, November 8th. I wanted to do something nice for her, so I decided to release this poem, since she liked it. That's all that counts, so…I hope you enjoy it as much as she does! And, Sigs? I'm gonna miss you to death, nothing's gonna be the same without you!
Disclaimer: Sailor Moon? It's not mine. This poem? It's mine.

Time
Stands Still
By Baine
---------------------------------
This poem takes place at the airport during the beginning of Stars
as Mamoru bids Usagi farewell on his way to Harvard.
Your
face,
so close to mine
Your breath,
so near my cheek
Your eyes,
staring
at me so mistily
Your tears,
splashing soundlessly to the
ground
Your
whisper,
booming loudly into the night
Your voice,
so low
and gruff
For us,
time
stands still
As you tearfully
say goodbye,
I whisper,
Don't you dare start to cry!
Your watering eyes
soften as you look down at me,
eyes once sad, hopeless, and oh-so
dark
As you look down at me, these same eyes lighten drastically,
dramatically
I see the change
creeping upon you,
And I whisper,
This isn't goodbye, it's
just…see you soon
There can never be
a beginning without an end
I'll come back to you before you know
it,
and we'll be together once more,
this time for all
eternity…
I promise
You
bend down and kiss me,
oh, so passionately,
as though you were
drowning,
and I was the buoy sent to rescue you,
your sole
lifeline in this world
You stare deeply
into my eyes…
and smile
Your face,
so close that your nose
bumps into mine
Your
breath,
dancing tantalizingly across my lips
Your
eyes,
piercing mine now with sudden intensity
The last of your
tears,
trickling forgotten down your cheeks
Your whisper,
now
laden with desire
Your
voice,
rumbling low in your throat
You reluctantly tell me
goodbye,
but this time the words do not burden your heart
I whisper farewell,
then I turn and walk away
You grab my wrist and tell me to wait
I
turn to you,
your hand never releases my wrist
You tell me you
love me,
that you'll wait an eternity so long as you can see me
again
You hold out your hand,
a bright light strikes my eyes
You look into my
eyes,
and whisper, oh-so lovingly,
Will you marry me?
The hustle and
bustle of the nearby throng of people surrounds us,
as people
hurry to catch their flights,
yet we are left unaware of this
feeling to hurry
For
us,
time stands still once more
