Jareth by Nighttime Wish
(Disclaimer: I do not own Labyrinth or the related characters. All I own are my own ideas and no one will take them from me!)
Eyes of the owl
They watch as she moves
Snow like a cowl
Hide the claw grooves
For five years he has waited
Burning for one he cannot touch
But now his cravings may be sated
By that form that is so lush
Banished was he
From his beloved's presence
For her chant had taken
And dashed all his lessons
Give me the child she had said so boldly
He intended to replace what she had taken only
But should the compensation be she
Ah, sweet Aphrodite,
Smitten is this Fae
Who pines for his enemy
Never does he leave his eyes from her form
Forever in doubt of her affections
Each suitor who dares set eyes upon her
Should never have his feelings reciprocated
Ah, the green eyed beauty that enchants them all
Forever his vixen she will stay
Flipping her hair or batting her eyes
A demon in him is slowly arising
Unknown to the world he patiently waits
For that hour, that minute to come forth
'Cause then shall he have her
No banns in place for the anniversary of her birth date
He returns to his castle
Crumbling and unused
The maze out the windows in a mess
The goddess has forsaken him
The day he released her
And therefore his kingdom is less
Eyes of the owl
He watches and waits
Just outside her window
For a girl one and twenty
The trials of life do not show
She flirts in her room
With an invisible man
He knows she prepares for him
For since she has left
He knows she feels bereft
For any male but him.
She throws her body into the dream
Which she so effortlessly weaves
Creamy skin, milky white
That he would so love to tease
Mahogany hair hides her from him
But he knows the features they frame
That pert little nose
With ruby red lips
That he so craves to kiss.
Her gaze is the problem
If she so feels hate
What should he do to sway her?
Even when he won
Not once, twice but thrice
This seductive goddess he allowed a delusion
To think she had won
And allow her her fun
For in the end he would claim her still
Enough is enough
The minute has come
Time to collect his beloved
He creeps in the room a shimmer of light
While her back is turned
He whispers her name
A touch of dark promise
"Sarah"
And she stiffens
She whirl around
And lets fall from her lips
The one word he has yearned to hear.
AN: Should I do a sequel for this as a continuation but from Sarah's POV? I'll only do it if I get over 16 reviews.
