Author's Note: Sorry for the wait! I quit my job at Sprouts and got a full time office job so I have my weekends off and have more time to write! Yay…anyway…I will be changing my username probably…not sure if I will go through with it. You will probably hate me but time jump in this chapter.

Chapter 21: Whatever It Takes…

BPOV

I sat there in the seat fidgeting nervously waiting for them to call my name. I looked around the crowd of students to search for his green eyes and couldn't see them. I was so nervous…this was the end of it all.

I looked beside me and saw my row getting up to stand. Of course I'm all the way in the back because of my last name. I waited as people walked across the stage to receive their diplomas and I stood there ringing my hands.

"Isabella Marie Swan."

I looked up and walked the stairs to the stage and went towards our principal Mr. Greene. "Congratulations Bella!"

He handed me my book and I moved my tassel to the other side of my hat. I walked the stage and then down the stairs and went back to my seat.

I graduated High School.

I looked in the stands and saw my mom and Phil smiling from ear to ear. Dad was sitting next to her with Sue – his girlfriend. He was smiling and had his arm wrapped around Sue. Next to Sue were Esme, Carlisle, Elsa, Rose, Emmett and Jasper.

In Rosalie's arms was my little man.

Kaison Nathaniel Cullen.

He took after Edward with the bright green eyes and had a mix of my brown hair and Edward's bronze color. He was dressed in a cute pair of jeans, converse and a nice blue shirt. He was clapping and smiling ear to ear. He'd just turned a year old a couple weeks ago and he was the best baby anyone could ask for.

After fifteen more minutes of names being called, Mr. Green congratulated our class and wished us the best of luck. Everyone stood and threw their hats in the air. I didn't.

This hate was a memory I wanted to keep.

This was a good day.

EPOV

I smiled. My son was sitting on the floor watching cartoons and drooling because he was so in tune with the show.

I was shaking…

Today was the day…the day I would propose to the mother of my child.

We graduated high school almost 4 years ago and now we were about to finish our last year of college and I was ready for the next step. Kaison was almost 5 years old.

"Buddy," I spoke. Kaison's head turned towards me and he smiled.

"Daddy did uncle Em and aunt Rose come back yet?" he asked me as he turned away from his cartoon. I looked at what he was watching and the animals in the show were getting married. I laughed.

"They will be home soon, buddy." Em and Rose had gotten married two weeks ago and left for their honeymoon. Ever since Kaison could talk he would have long gibberish conversations with Rose. He was so attached to her.

"Awh," Kaison whispered.

I sighed, "Its okay buddy…Mommy's coming home though!" that perked him right up.

"Is today the big surprise daddy!?" I nodded and he got up, turned the TV off and went down the hall to his bedroom.

He was gone for a good ten minutes and then came back out. He was dressed in a nice dress shirt, black slacks and his sneakers. "Daddy I need you to do the tie." He held out his blue tie to me and I took it in my hands.

I started to put it around his neck, "You excited buddy?"

His green eyes were excited, "Yes daddy, I am…I get to be your best…your best…" he whispered trying to remember the words.

"Best man."

He grinned and nodded. "Yeah!"

I finished his tie. "Mommy's favorite color." I whispered.

"I'm so excited!" he ran into the kitchen and peaked his head around the corner. "C'mon dad! We need to cook mommy's dinner!"

I laughed and followed my son into the kitchen and we cooked Bella's favorite; Mushroom and spinach ravioli.

I waited nervously by the kitchen table and sighed when I heard the door starting to open. After our 2nd year of college, my parents helped us find a home to live in not too far from them. It was a nice four bedroom two bath home with a large backyard.

Kaison was sitting beside me grinning, "You're going to give it away." I whispered.

His grinned wiped of his face and he sat there serious. I laughed. "Edward?"

I sighed, "In here babe."

Bella walked in the room and smiled. She was working at an editing firm for books as a receptionist and they told her when she got her degree – which she could apply for an editor position.

I was about to graduate in music and was teaching music from a shop I opened up with Jasper in town.

Bella looked gorgeous in a blue ruffled top and a pin striped shirt with her flats on. She looked at me and then at Kaison with a raised eye brown. I nudged him and he snapped out of it. He got out of his chair and went to Bella's chair and pulled it out the best he could and then looked at her. "For you mommy."

She smiled and then placed her bag down on the floor. "Thank you baby," she whispered and then sat in the chair. Kaison looked at me and then the kitchen counter. I nodded.

Tonight…desert was first…plus it was the only thing Kaison could carry.

He brought her a cup of cookies and cream ice cream and right on top was the ring. "Close your eyes mommy."

Bella closed her eyes and he sat the ice cream right in front of her. "Don't open mommy." He whispered and held her hands so they wouldn't move. Bella laughed and he giggled.

I got out of my chair and went on the other side of Bella and got down on one knee. I nodded at Kaison and he pulled his hands away. "Okay mommy, you can open them now."

Bella opened her eyes and looked at her ice cream and saw it. It was my birth mother's ring and I wanted Bella to have it. Her eyes turned towards me and she had tears flowing.

"Bella…" I started.

She grabbed me into a hung and cried. "You don't even have to ask!"

I grinned. "I love you."

"I love you more."

"Mommy…can I put the ring on for you?" Bella laughed and pulled away from me and nodded at him. Kaison grabbed the ring and licked it from being cold and I laughed.

"I pronoun you daddy and mommy." And he slid the ring on her finger.

I laughed at his miss-use of the words. "I love you two."

Bella smiled. "I love you more…"

"Well I love you more and more and more." Kaison noted having to chime in.

I laughed and pulled them towards me in a hug.

This was the decision I'd been wanting for a long time. I would do whatever it takes to make my family safe and feel loved.

I was going to marry my best friend and my best man was going to be there standing right next to me. All 3 feet of him.

I love my family…whatever it takes.

So that's it…Sorry it's so short and time skipped. But at least I am able to finish this story for everyone! Maybe I will write an extra chapter like 5 years into the future or something… you never know!
