"I should kill you now," the blade of Adam Monroe, the man he had once considered a friend and a hero in the truest meaning of the word was standing seconds away from him.

"Hiro," Hiro was tired of listening to Peter Petrelli, the man, the brother of flying man, he considered a friend had lost his way. "Adam's blood has healing abilities."

"Its true," the older brother Nathan was standing just behind Peter. "He used his blood to heal me."

An idea sparked in Hiro's mind, a nasty one that would help make up some of the bad deeds that Adam had done over the centauries. He closed his eyes and the two vanished.

Peter's hand stretched out and caught the vial before it smashed on the ground. Sweat dripped off his face as he walked slowly over and scooped it up. He looked at Nathan with a smile. "Lets finish the job."

Some time ago

Hiro walked into the diner and found Charlie waiting, she didn't sleep much these days as the power of hers was starting to take effect. In fact, Hiro was certain that he'd seen her reading at three o clock one morning.

"Hiro," the woman drawled her southern accent.

"Yes Charlie?" The woman he'd fallen for was standing with a very puzzled face. "There's ah couple of things wrapped up her for you, with a note."

She handed it over to him, there was a box and a cylinder that looked as though it contained, well something.

He tore the envelope open and started reading.

"Dear Hiro," he said reading aloud for Charlie, "Great power brings great responsibility…"

When he was done reading, Hiro walked over and opened up the box. Inside he found a large bound leather book, lots of vials of blood and a syringe with instructions.

He opened the cylinder and pulled out a very long, very wicked looking sword.

"Great responsibility indeed."
